I stayed at The Farmers Arms for 2 nights recently. Its located in a nice part of Abergavenny; easily accessible and (certainly at weekends in March) easy parking outside. The room was lovely, spotless and comfortable. The bar is great, good bunch of friendly local people and great selection of ales and other drinks. Breakfast was beautiful, in fact my... More

Immaculately clean, spacious room. Comfortable beds. The best full English breakfast ever. Lovely pub atmosphere but quiet in room. The best and most friendly hospitality we have ever found in overnight accommodation. Excellent value.

I dropped in with my family for lunch and was pleased with the welcome, the service, the food and drinks, the hospitality and the price. Recommended! The menu offered some good options and they serve lunch past 2pm, unlike some pubs, the decor etc is fine and its a central location.

Stayed two nights, found the room very clean and tidy and the staff very friendly.couple of minor issues, our room No3 must of been over the kitchen and from 5 PM to 10.30 Pm you get a Noise/Droom from some type of heavy motor and we had no heating radiators cold to which they tried to bleed to no effect... We booked this as listed as dog friendly local pub/accommodation. Great value! Very clean and central location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Top class home made food. Would book again and highly recommend to others.

We were in Abergavenny twice this trip. First stay was at Farmers Arms. The rooms are spartan. And the amenities meager. For example, the towels are inadequate. However, it is very clean, and the staff is great. The pub downstairs is very friendly and great fun. We recommend if you are looking for value.

At the last minute we decided to travel to Abergavenny to visit some relatives. We booked the Falmers Arms through Booking.com which was so simple. The property is perfectly situated for a very short walk into the centre of town. The service from hotel staff was excellent and we were given a larger room. The room was clean with an... More

Booked in for a night while working close by. So glad we did as its a fantastic little place. Extremley clean with very friendly staff and most welcoming. The bar area is great with a nice choice of homemade dishes. Will return very soon.

Good hotel which will take dogs which is a bonus and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The steak was as good as any I have had and very reasonable. Not good if you like sweets though! Sill good value for money.

Had a large family room which was much bigger than we had expected. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Parking near the pub is a bit of an issue but after a little hassle we found somewhere. a great choice of accomodation if you want to explore the local area.
