We had a lovely few days around the area. We will go back, as there is so much to see. Everyone that we came into contact was really friendly. Hardwick Farm was great, the farm is set just off the road, but is very quiet. A good breakfast, and any thing that we wish for. Lovely room with lots of... More

Excellent B&B. Good value for money. Had a warm welcome upon arrival with cake and drinks. Carol had lots of good advice regarding location attractions. Amazing breakfast. Even had a tour around the farm which was very interesting! I would definitely recommend!

We (a couple with a 5 year old) loved Hardwick Farm. It is situated just 1 mile from the train station at Abergavenny, Wales, and is a fully mechanized dairy farm. Our little boy loved feeding the calves with the host family and we were all fascinated by the working of the dairy machines. The farm is surrounded by lovely... More

We stayed for two nights in February and it was amazing. We had the warmest of welcomes from Carol and Cyril (and the dogs). We even had home made cake upon arrival. This was honestly the best holiday i've been on. The breakfast was brilliant (particularly the toast), it was all locally sourced and really set us up for the... More

We stayed one night on a rainy weekend in April. As the other reviewers have commented, Carol was a lovely host who served a hearty breakfast and helped us with directions and taxi info. Location is great: we arrived by train and the b and b is a short (10-15 min) walk from the station, though it does involve crossing... More

A warm comfortable welcome to a handsome farmhouse surrounded by glorious views, yet a five minute drive into the picturesque town of Abergavenny. We were so impressed. A huge room with high ceilings and large sash windows onto incredible views, crisp cotton sheets, wi fi, tv and stocked with good quality tea and coffee making facilities. Easy access to beautiful... This is such a friendly bed and breakfast. I think this was our 5th visit. Other people have said it all I think. We are a family of 3 and the room is a great size. Although not en suite the private bathroom ( which goes with the family room) is also large, with a shower and big bath. The... More

We try to go away for New Years Eve every year and we found Hardwick Farm on the internet after deciding on the Brecon Beacons. We stayed for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are big and very comfortable - better than some 5* hotels we have stayed at (we were very happy with the... More

After our lovely stay in May, we wanted to visit the Brecon Beacons NP again and went back to the Hardwick B&B. Carol was as welcoming as ever and we even got some cake on the second night, which was delicious! Nice big rooms, very clean, great breakfasts, good location.
