Stayed here for one night on our way to visit friends. As we were only passing through the area, the location was really convenient and easy to find, being just half a mile from the A40 dual carriageway. The Bedroom was spacious with an en suite shower room that appeared to be relatively recently fitted and both were spotlessly clean.... More

Growing up on a dairy farm was the basis for some real nostalgia when we checked into the Hardwick B&B. This is a true farm stay, and if being close to over 120 head of holsteins along with the calves & heifers is not your thing, then look elsewhere. We loved the friendliness of our host Carol and her daughter... More

Thank you Carol and family for a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely, our room was huge and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We got to see the cows (and cute baby cows) on the farm, and were shown the milking which is very interesting. We ventured into the national park during the daytimes to see the waterfalls and... We stayed at Hardwick for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Carol went out of her way to drive us into town early one morning and was very welcoming. The farm itself is fascinating and we learned many interesting things about dairy farming. Rooms are spacious and beds comfy.

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay here. A large, sumptuous room, impossibly comfortable bed, wonderful hosts and the chance to see the milking. The cooked English breakfast was very well done too. A perfect B&B :) We would definitely return.

We stayed here for two nights. Very warm welcome, comfortable room and nights sleep. Fantastic hosts, breakfast and tour of the cow milking process (my image of Dr Jenner and milk maids long gone!) Beautiful setting and convenient location for visiting Cardiff for the rugby one day and visiting the Brecon Beacons the next. Highly recommended, we will visit again.

This is my first review on tripadvisor, but I simply had to second the already wonderful reviews. Carol balances warm, local, friendly hospitality with better attention to detail than I have had from $300 US hotels, who think they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. An example? Every time we left the B&B the tea and... More

A lovely place to stay. The location is great and the welcome fantastic. The room we had was spacious, clean and really comfortable. Breakfast next morning was wonderful. Would definitely return if ever in the vicinity again.

We returned to Hardwick Farm after a gap of several years and found it as clean, comfortable and welcoming as ever. We could not ask for a better host than Carol Jones - the welcome and standard of service she and Anna provide can not be faulted. The rooms are carefully provided with all you would expect including plenty of... More
