Llansantffraed Court is in a beautiful location. However, we had to abandon lunch recently without having dessert because of the flies in the restaurant. There were five constantly round our table and one dive bombed my drink. It made for a very unpleasant experience, and was a great shame, as the food was very good. We were also given the... More

The hotel is in a great location and has plenty of character. Staff were polite and welcoming, especially Maggie who was exceptional. Our room was pleasant with good views over the lawn to the lake and chapel, and it was well equipped. Food in the restaurant was superb matched by friendly, unobtrusive service. We had the tasting menu and it... More

The building is large, old and the communal areas looking very tired. The carpet in the corridors needs replacing and many of the walls on the stairs and corridors were scuffed and marked. A shoddy first impression when going to your room. Our room however was lovely: a large comfortable bed, separate annex with a sofa and a nice view... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is in a lovely spot with beautiful views across a small lake to the chapel. We had the taster menu with wine and found it is be superb - difficult to pick out the highlights but the venison was wonderful and the wines complemented the food perfectly. It was delightful... Looks like a good wedding venue with its well-kept and photogenic gardens, and even a neighbouring chapel. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and had heating including towel rails one could control, and the staff were all pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Rooms include tea making facilities, although not mentioned on the website. Storage space was good in the room, less... More

Situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Llansantffraed Court Hotel is beautifully located with great views over the hills. Whilst some of its rooms are tinged with a degree of 'faded elegance', the service is first rate and the welcome is warming and heartfelt. For those not wanting to tackle the local hills, there are plenty of... More

We enjoyed an overnight stay here, mainly due to the excellent taster menu, but also as we could bring our well behaved dogs too! The staff were welcoming, the room was lovely and there were plenty of walks to enjoy. We had a superb lunch on the terrace accompanied by our four legged friends, before strolling around the beautiful grounds.... More

We had a lovely overnight stay here. I love the fact that its a privately owned hotel, where the owner mans the reception desk and its quite obvious that the staff buy into the 'concept' of a family business. We were warmly welcomed on our Cwtch deal. Our room was an executive room on the 1st floor and was super, fantastic... More

The quintessential family hotel, with superb fine dining and affordable prices - the perfect base for discovering South Wales Pros: - a beautifulbuilding in the middle of picturesque gardens, with plenty of place for kids to roam free - one feels at home immediately both in the hotel and in the restaurant. While some of the staff are clearly beginnners,... More
