We stayed at this hotel on the 8 October 2014 and used a Groupon voucher. The location is very appealing and no doubt they hold many weddings. The hotel needs money spent on furniture in various areas. The staff are absolutely fabulous and this compensates for the other minor defects. The restaurant is a lovely room well laid out and lots of character. Well... More

We stayed for August bank holiday weekend at Llansantffraed Court. Rooms were comfortable & in-keeping with the building. We took the dog & they were very dog friendly. On both nights we ate at the hotel, the first night from the 3 course menu & the taster menu on the second night. The food was of a fantastic standard, most... More

I stayed here with two colleagues for one night. The approach the hotel and the building itself set in its own grounds looked really promising. I hadn't made the booking and had no idea where we were going to stay until we arrived. Checkin was fast and we were told where our rooms were and a table was booked for... More

As you enter the hotel the first impression is very good but as soon as you pass reception all is not good. We paid £185 per night for room and breakfast for 3 nights and whilst the room was an excellent size ( Raglan Suite ) the condition of the furniture and shabbiness of the windows and window sills was... Return visit after two years to find this hotel good and even better than before. Very friendly and helpful staff, so important on arrival having started the day in Ireland at 4.30 a.m. ! Fabulous room (booked direct). Tranquil location surrounded by fields. The food is exceptional. Award winning chef combined with a perfect dining room made it a dinner... More

We visited at the beginning of September. Yes, the flies are a bit of an issue but please don't let that stop you staying or eating at this hotel. We found the the room comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Yes, the hotel could do with a little bit of refreshing but it has character. The... More

We booked a family lunch here to celebrate a 40th birthday and wedding anniversary and I explained that we were bringing 4 small chldren The restaurant was very quiet (only one other family there) and lacked atmosphere. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and helpful but service was very slow considering that we ordered the set menu of only... More

We attended a wedding in July, the price for the drinks are beyond and most shocking of all it was cash only, won't be going back, food not that great, the actual hotel is nice, seen loads of flies while at the bar

What a gem. This place was fantastic. Rooms are a very good size, shower fantastic and the bed, too good. Then we had dinner, don't know who the chef is, but he would not be out of place in the finest restaraunts anywhere 5 star!! Do yourselves a favour and visit this place.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a Travelzoo deal which included bed, breakfast and seven course tasting menu. Our initial impression was that the inside of the hotel was a little shabby, but the customer service was brilliant. We were upgraded to the bridal suite which was a lovely room with everything you need. The decor... More
