The wifi didn't work. Reception unstaffed. Required to walk through busy dining room with bags. Only one pillow each (later rectified); shower difficult to operate and no info in room. Radiator in bathroom on - burned my leg every time I used the loo. No soap to wash hands. Mineral water in tiny bottles provided but warm. No cold water... More

Came for lunch with family. I have eaten here in the past and been very impressed, on this occasion, however, it didn't quite hit the mark. The menu has limited vegetarian options, which was a shame for two of our party, but they said that the meal they chose (veggie sausages) were quite tasty. One chicken dish arrived luke-warm and... Stayed for two nights last October to walk th e Sugar Loaf mountain and other hikes. We had a lovely time, the room we stayed in was perfect for us as a couple, double be, TV, en suite and a balcony looking along the gorgeous river usk and the surrounding valley. We had a lovely cooked breakfast in the nice... More

Our room was small, but was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the restaurant, the food was so tasty and served in a such a beautiful surroundings... More

I fell upon this place by accident, and boy am I glad that I did! This place is stunning! I called in for some lunch and had a most spectacular seafood platter I had had in a long time The Lady owner was so welcoming and warm and the view over the riverside was lovely. planning another visit when I... Visited today for Sunday lunch, the waiting area was nice and relaxing and we enjoyed a few drinks before we were shown to our table.. The menu was ok we both chose the beef (would of been nicer if it was slightly pink) and sticky toffee for dessert.. The waiting staff were nice and friendly. Overall a pleasant afternoon

A lovely hotel overlooking the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We stayed for one night on a promotion deal. The bedroom was beautifully decorated. Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits available. Sky available on the TV. What I liked was the little touches ie feminine toiletries in the bathroom, lovely white china including a teapot! I have stayed in all sorts of budget... More

We booked a balcony room for two nights and the views were lovely, the room was small and the bathroom smaller but adequate. it was all spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect, we ate in the restuarant and the food was hot and tasty. However, I think the hotel is in need overall of... More

This place is a little gem, the views are amazing, staff are brilliant, its very clean, good food and even sky tv in the rooms!!! Only slight downside is that ita not in a town, but the waking up to those views make that worth it. Definitely the best 3 star we have ever stayed at - we loved this... More
