A lovely hotel overlooking the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We stayed for one night on a promotion deal. The bedroom was beautifully decorated. Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits available. Sky available on the TV. What I liked was the little touches ie feminine toiletries in the bathroom, lovely white china including a teapot! I have stayed in all sorts of budget... More

We booked a balcony room for two nights and the views were lovely, the room was small and the bathroom smaller but adequate. it was all spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect, we ate in the restuarant and the food was hot and tasty. However, I think the hotel is in need overall of... More

This place is a little gem, the views are amazing, staff are brilliant, its very clean, good food and even sky tv in the rooms!!! Only slight downside is that ita not in a town, but the waking up to those views make that worth it. Definitely the best 3 star we have ever stayed at - we loved this... More

we booked on line last January not knowing what to expect . We were taken back with the accommodation how clean, and the details to your needs, water, coffee/tea facilities, bathroom cosmetics. The Breakfast was excellent, beautiful room with stunning views. booked to go back again and have dinner bed and breakfast and have reserved the same room.

17 June reached my 70th birthday and I chose my favourite restaurant to celebrate. What a total disaster! It seems obvious that the chef has changed or the owners have severely cut back. This has been our favourite place to meet friends from Bristol and South Wales for years and they never wanted to go anywhere else. The menu in... More

We stayed on a two night deal break. The staff were very helpful, we had a nice very clean comfortable room. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only one comment, the hot water coming from the shower was only luke warm, maybe this is normal for summertime. If you want to have a day in Cardiff, would recommend the park... More

My friend and I stayed here overnight. We used a special deal, which was £40 for the room. You would never guess from the roadside view of this hotel what an absolute gem it is inside. It is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The bar has a mixture of seating which is modern and cosy. Friendly staff, without being over-fussy. This... More

Stayed here on a one night room only deal in room 203, which has a balcony overlooking the river and Brecon Beacons. The room was small but clean and had everything needed including en-suite bath and shower. The view from the balcony is stunning my only issue was that all balcony's join with no privacy from your next door neighbour,... More

Very nice room with balcony overlooking the river. Excelent breakfast. Just a couple of small niggles - toilet flush wouldn't stop running and soap dispenser empty. No WiFi in the rooms. Otherwise, very pleasant.

Right on the road excellent views, staff polite and helpful. Twin Room was neat and tidy, well appointed, bathroom compact but well stocked. Sky TV and coffee/tea facilities, Cupboard space and desk which is a nice change. The restaurant had two choices of menu, both well priced - the meals where fabulous.
