we stayed at this hotel as we were finalists at the true taste wales awards. The awards team chose this hotel for us, we loved the staff straight away, so welcoming and easy going and on the ball with the bar etc. The rooms were lovely, very old worldy type with nice floorboards. breakfast arrived within minutes of ordering. we... more

Staff very friendly & helpful, food excellent, great atmos in the place. Own-brewed ales good (though advertised tour not available) and refurb has been very well done. Just beware Room 6.
