We decided to have a Saturday night away somewhere away from home and, on some recommendations from friends, decided to visit Abergavenny. Like sensible folk we consulted trip advisor and saw the good reviews that Blorenge View had received. Coupled with the price being right our decision was made. Due to the now ubiquitous abysmal weekend drivers delaying us we... More

I stayed a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding and found Christine was exceptionally welcoming. She even collected me from the station with my suitcase. The room was warm, modern and spotlessly clean with flat screen TV, wi-fi and all usual facilities. Blorenge is a short walk from Abergavenny, with plenty of restaurants for an evening meal. On a lovely... More

We stayed for one night prior to collecting our son from Cardiff uni for Christmas. It is clean, very homely and welcoming and Christine was very friendly. It's a 5 minute slightly steep walk into town, but set in a really quiet location, with convenient parking. Our room was huge and comfortable with everything we needed, and spotlessly clean. It... We couldn't have wished for a better B&B for our short stay in Abergavenny. The location was fairly central, there was private parking, and the welcome was sincerely warm and friendly. The room was large, beautifully furnished, with a king-size very comfortable bed, and all the usual extras were provided. The bathroom was also large with a huge shower cubicle,... More

Have stayed with Christine a few times now and really enjoy our time there. The rooms are lovely and comfy and she always provides you with that little bit more, be it on the hospitality tray or the toiletry basket. Breakfasts are lovely, we've sampled both Christine's and Pauline's. It's a nice walk down into the town, so no need... More

Blorenge View is located in a small neighborhood just a short walk (~5 minutes) away from the town center in Abergavenny. Abergavenny is a decent sized village with shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. There is also a ruined castle and a beautiful church. We stayed there for one night as a stopping place between Northern Wales and Bath, England. Our room... More

The b&b is located within a short walk of the town centre which was great for us in the evening for a meal. The room was very clean and had modern furniture and decor, the bathroom was a good size and again very clean. We had a full English breakfast which was excellent, as well as fresh fruit and croissants.... More

At the last count we had stayed at over 100 guest houses, and this one was up there with the best we have had, we had stayed in pembrokeshire the previous 5 days in a self catering apt that was chintzy and old fashioned so a night in this modern clean contempory room was a great relief and good end... We stayed at Blorenge View for the Abergavenny Food Festival and from beginning to end, everything was fantastic! Christine answered all my (many) questions before booking and was happy to answer any follow up emails I had. The room itself was gorgeous - we were in the Usk room with a massive bed, beautiful decor and amaaaazing shower! Everything was... More

This was a wonderful place to stay after a long flight from Canada, Christine was waiting for us when we arrived and whisked us to our beautiful room with a wonderful comfortable king size bed and well appointed bathroom with both a bath and a shower. After giving us some time to freshen up, Christine made some lovely suggestions on... More
