Stayed 1 night for an event in the town which is a 10min walk away. Owner was very friendly & flexible with check in / out times to accommodate the event timings and also recommending local restaurants. Would certainly return if in the area again.

Our stay at Marianfa was great! Fantastic location, a mere 5 minute walk from the town centre. June (the one owner) was incredibly helpful giving us ideas of were to go and what to do as well as directions and name dropping at the local pharmacy as we needed some medical attention. The rooms were comfortable and clean and while... More

Very comfortable, perfectly located and equipped place to stay in lovely Caernarfon. Very tasty breakfast, clean and pretty room, great location and absolutely friendly and nice owners! I highly recommend Marianfa! Place is also hikers friendly so you can expect warm welcome even when you are covered with mud and dirt after your Snowdonia experience :)

Traditional B&B. Comfortable, homely and welcoming. Conveniently located and easy to find. Walking distance to Caernarfon centre. Well run by personable people. Breakfast 0830-0900 but were happy to accommodate an earlier request so I could get to work. Good hearty breakfast. Have booked again already.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this guest house. June and Jeff are friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Rooms were good and had all we needed. Quiet location too close to the harbour and town centre. A hearty breakfast is provided and was perfect to set us up for the day. Would recommend if your... More

I stayed for 2 nights at Marianfa in the Easter week. This guest house had all I needed; it was clean, the bed was good, the shower strong enough if a little cramped, I slept well and the breakfast was served well and had all the right ingredients. The centre of Caernafon is close by the recommended pub (the Black... More

We stayed at this guest house on Friday 10th October as we were visiting Bangor uni open day on the Saturday. It was a 10 minute drive (if that) into Bangor. Very friendly lovely couple (Jeff & June) who gave us local information on the surrounding area. We parked directly outside the old Victorian property, the room was cosy with... More

This is my second time of staying here. Very comfortable rooms with all facilities, TV & Wi-Fi. Very close to town centre and car parks. Very friendly & helpful owners. Ideal for visiting Carnarvon Castle. Good breakfast. Biker Friendly. If in Wales, give this place a try.

I have stayed in 4 B&Bs in the last 3 months in various parts of the UK. All charged similar prices per night, but I feel I can only score this as average on the price paid. Jeff & June are lovely hosts and if the review were based on the hosts then i would give it an excellent. The... More

Stayed here for a night in August. Parking directly outside. Lovely terrace. Victorian property with plenty of character. Some may say it needs updating but why remove the homeliness it provides. Lovely welcome from Jeff, everything explained. Family room was spacious, clean and comfy. Lovely view. Bathroom had been specially built in and was perfectly adequate for us. Bit noisy... More
