I selected this hotel because it was listed in one of my guidebooks. Carpet looked nasty, bathroom was dirty, full of mold. It was so bad I decided not to take a shower. Spent the afternoon in Caernarfon 04/10/09 and was looking for somwhere to eat, found the wonderful Black Boy Inn, still serving at 2:20pm. We came accross this by accident after chcking into a nearby Hotel, wish we had seen this place before. I cannot comment on the rooms but the food is great, very busy and loads of atmosphere. Really helpfull staff and good sevice. Cannot fault it all and would definately eat there again when in Caernarfon. more

Stayed 2 nights here , best pub in town and excellent restaurant, very good value meals and large portions.Rooms had been refurbished to an excellent standard.
