Stayed for two nights dinner, bed and breakfast - £109 per person. Very good value and the food was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel apeared to operate very efficiently. Would definitely go back. more

My partner & I stayed one night here before moving on to Angelsey for an event we were involved in and it was a bit of a mixed experience. Our room was basically OK BUT over what was presumably the boiler which kept clicking on and off & was quite noisy. The small TV was on a shelf at right... more

Have just spent three days in this hotel, and enjoyed it. Room was fine, very clean, quite spacious, well-maintained. Food was competently prepared and while some of the foreign wait staff were a little nervous there was nothing worth complaining about. Breakfast was a peculiar affair, a little spread out, and our conference was on in a strange room that... more

We stayed at the Celtic Royal Hotel on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast Spring break offer from 7th to 12th April 2009. It has recently been refurbished and to us, to an incredibly high standard. We wanted a base in North Wales, to allow us to explore Snowdon, Porthmadog and Bedgelert. From the minute we arrived to the time we... more

This is a lovely hotel which is very clean, well decorated and the buffet breakfast very good with tasty local food. However traveller be warned do not stay in room 116. The room is small, hardly enough room to swing a cat, and the bed can only be described as doll house size. I stayed here with my husband who... more

My family and I have just returned from a Christmas Break at this hotel and it was SUPERB! My husband, son and I had a family room (no 303) and my parents were across the corridor in room no 304. Our room was very large, spotlessly clean and very warm - perhaps just a little too warm but that was... more

We are beginning to regularly meet up with our relatives in different parts of the country in Late November/Early December and this is what we did in Caernarfon this year. The Celtic Royal is a brilliantly positioned hotel to explore Snowdonia/Caernarfon/Anglesey area. Our rooms were old fashioned but very comfortable and warm. In our family room (room123) the bathroom was... more
