This Travelodge is quite new and the building was not originally designed as an hotel, with the result that it has very spacious rooms which are not the usual configuration - a welcome change. It is very well situated by the new Victoria Dock development and right next to the city walls. Clean and excellent value.

This modern refurbished hotel is centrally located in the town near the sea. The rooms were very large and well appointed. We booked 3 rooms and the staff were very helpful in getting the rooms adjacent. There is a free council car park adjacent to the hotel. For a cheap room it is hard to do better.

A lovely clean and refurbished travel lodge. Ideal location for the town and Castle. A more than adequate Family Room (Actually to big and slightly bare) for two adults and two children. Free parking a little bit of a trek but great views across the Menai Straits. Becca on reception was brilliant. Will defo use again when next that way.

Very smart, modern, quiet, comfortable hotel. Next to the marina in a docklands type setting, lovely area to wander around in the evening. Less than five minutes walk to the castle area. The only down-side is that there is no dedicated car park, nearest car park is a few minutes walk away, pay & display. I have to walk back... More

As travelodges go this one is quite good, its fairly new so not tired and scruffy like some. The location its less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and town centre but its far enough away not to be noisy. For breakfast there is a morrisons over the road or a wetherspoons just by the castle wall. I... More

My friend and I stayed here overnight and the accommodation was as you would expect from a Travelodge - clean with adequate facilties. The main plus point for this hotel is the receptionist who was on duty on the 8th November - she was so helpful and friendly - a real asset to Travelodge. Easy to walk into Caernarfon and... More

So much better after refurbishing. Had some very poor visits to Leeds Airport and Cardiff at Travelodges in last year and was reluctant to consider Travelodge again. Was very impressed with the improvement. Really had a pleasant stay. Thanks you.

With its position near the waterfront, keen prices and well kempt rooms we found this a very good place to stay for a short Snowdonia Autumn break. Ample free parking is available a five minute walk away although this might be a problem for those not travelling light. We experienced a fire alarm at 0730 which the ever friendly staff... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. Ideal location in the harbour and easy to find. Had a table table restaurant and a lovely chinese all within walking distance. Shame there wasn't parking closer by, it was actoss the main road to the complex the hotel is in but not convenient to carry to the hotel. Would stay here... More

Arrived at 2.30 am and received a very friendly welcome. Good, warm, clean, comfortable room only lacking in a hair dryer. Staff very helpful, the fact that the car park is remote is not a good thing but this did not spoil our stay. I recommend this hotel for a short stay.
