Really warm and welcoming. Newly decorated from last time visited.. Great beer/ale selection on draft.. Food was superb.. Steak meal cooked to perfection and a complimentary drink for miscommunication on the order... Will visit again! Thanks you.

Went for an evening meal with my family on a Saturday evening which stated off well. Half way through my meal a very large boat steering wheel that was hanging off the wall came crashing down on my head and then onto the table smashing everything and ruining our meal. The waitress was very apologetic and and helped clean up... More

We turned up at 9.20 on a Saturday night. They still offered a full menu with really friendly service. Very attentive without being annoying or in your face, which was freak for such a young staff, very professional. The food was amazing, and flavour combinators worked really well. Very very cheap, £63 for three starters, 3 main courses and drinks.... More

Great service, not to busy! Really nice food, flavoursome! Brought me new potatoes instead of mash, they went better with the fish anyway XD. Really nice location and friendly staff :), already rocking the Christmas music and decor!

Lovely location overlooking the harbour, although we we're there after dark! Nice... More

There are three rooms available at the Boatyard Inn. In the room next to ours the mother and daughter appeared to be semi-permanent residents. On the bank holiday Saturday night we stayed they arrived back at the pub at 1am and had a good old karaoke session down in the bar. Seriously, starting at 1am! However if you take a... More

his review is with regard to the dining experience as we were not b&B guests. Sadly our occasion was a funeral reception. Not living in Bangor I chose The Boatyard purely on advice of local friends, this was quite stressful for me as I didn't know where to choose but thankfully I needn't have worried at all. I had to...
