There are three rooms available at the Boatyard Inn. In the room next to ours the mother and daughter appeared to be semi-permanent residents. On the bank holiday Saturday night we stayed they arrived back at the pub at 1am and had a good old karaoke session down in the bar. Seriously, starting at 1am! However if you take a... More

his review is with regard to the dining experience as we were not b&B guests. Sadly our occasion was a funeral reception. Not living in Bangor I chose The Boatyard purely on advice of local friends, this was quite stressful for me as I didn't know where to choose but thankfully I needn't have worried at all. I had to... First the good bit. The initial welcome was very pleasant and the girl behind the bar seemed genuinely pleased to see us. She processed payment for 1 night in twin room before showing us upstairs to what would turn out to be a dirty, unsafe and cramped room. The carpet condition and cleanliness on the stairs from bar to room... More

I was staying in Bangor on business and as a result had my meal paid by my company. I'm glad it was not my money paying for it as I Chose the hot and spicy chicken. After a half hour wait,a lovely chicken breast was served atop a pile of very dry mashed potato, smothered with the most mind blowingly hot... I stayed there for 4 nights. it is on par to a brothel. Music, noise all night with people running up & down the stairs all night. A brothel. Needs to be closed as a B&B. Also watch your money. Got charged for nights, drink when I was not even there,

Sheila, we have told you countless times before to stop harassing the staff and slandering the business. This is your last chance, if we hear from you again we are going to have to involve the police. We understand that you may not be acting in your right mind due to your condition but we have had enough. We were... More

My husband and I ate there last night. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was also excellent. The place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were attentive. We will definitely visit again.

Visited here on Saturday 19/04/14. Very friendly staff on arrival. Bit disappointed that the special was not available (even though it was shown on the board) but ordered the sharing platter and it was a treat! The view across Bangor harbour whilst sitting outside was fabulous! Staff always friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend,

Just had a lovely meal for four of us on a busy Saturday evening. Initially I was a bit put off by some recent reviews but these proved unfounded. The menu was very extensive with something for everybody at very reasonable prices. Yes we had to wait longer than we would normally like, this was due to a large party... More
