Just back from visiting Bangor and were looking for somewhere for Sunday carvery. What a find! Good quality meats, well cooked and nice selection of veg. Huge Yorkshire puddings and really tasty gravy. Lovely, warm, friendly staff and a really sensibly priced meal. Hugely recommend.

Our Sunday Carvery is very popular. We sourced all our produce from local suppliers and I'm glad you enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at our establishment. Thank you for your kind review. Kayley More

The Boatyard has three rooms to let, comfortable, clean and spacious the only drawback being a shared bathroom which did not prove a problem at all. The rates are very reasonable at £37 for bed and full Welsh breakfast, a meal cooked as well as the lunches and dinners on offer. It has a new menu which is varied and... More

The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the menu was varied. The crab was lovely as was the sea bass. The disappointing bit was that the dessert menu did not serve cheese and biscuits all the desserts were of the sweet variety. We had to order food at the bar rather than from the waitress( not sure if this... More

My family (4 adults, 2 children) dined here twice during our week long stay in Bangor. The dinners were wonderful! I had the chicken breast "burger" and other family members raved about the soups, fish, and pasta. They were really nice about accommodating our two young daughters' preferences as well. The food presentation was beautiful and the wait staff were... More

Visited for an evening meal after enjoying the zip wires. Enjoyed the excellent food and interesting atmosphere. Good beer. We recommend the figs for starters and the lamb burger from the chefs specials was the best I've had.

A very enjoyable meal here after a busy day. We dropped by in the afternoon to book and were warned to come a little later than usual as they had a big booking and only a small kitchen. We arrived at the appointed time to find the service was friendly & efficient and the food was great - fresh lobster... More

went here last night for a retirement do. The food was excellent, but the service was just flawless in both the food and bar. Manager of the pub is a wonderful lady. Would recommend without hesitation.

Came across it quite by accident been to the pier and thought let's try it and very glad we did. The staff were great and the service excellent. The Sunday lunch was great a selection of 4 meats plenty of veg and gravy. I would defiantly go again.

Definitely worth a visit! The food was really lovely, the views are amazing and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I like the new bright and airy decor too. The bedrooms have had a massive face lift alongside a new resident entrance/exit! What more could you ask for?!
