From the helpfulness of the staff, to the wonderful food- it was one of the best experiences I've had eating at a Chinese restaurant. (Or any restaurant!) I went there with a group of 20 friends to celebrate a birthday, and on arrival I asked a member of staff if they had any vegan dishes. She was so helpful; went... More

Didn't stay in this hotel but had a lovely meal. No waiting for table. Great service from friendly staff. Very nice with children. Food was very nice. Portions size was great. Very reasonable pricing. Would eat there again

Lovely local hotel situated conveniently by the train station. Staff were very helpful and polite during check in and throughout my stay. Room was spotlessly clean and the decor was classic rather than 'dated' as some reviews say (think this is the theme throughout the hotel). Thank you, see you in September!

So impressed by the pride the owner and staff have for this little gem. Yes the decor is a bit dated but it's very clean and comfy and the food is delicious. I've stayed in 5* hotels and never had such amazing service.

Rather old fashioned hotel with dated furnishing and decor - really needs an update. Staff were the best part - very friendly and helpful. Had a meal in the (Chinese) restaurant downstairs which was excellent.

i stayed at this place for 2 nights when i traveled to Bangor on a vacation recently. The staff here were very hospitable and the service offered was really great. Also, the hotel is very close to the railway station (just across the road actually). I had dinner on both the nights at the restaurant in the same hotel as... More

I have been staying here nearly every month for 2 years for business and I will not stay anywhere else. Iv tried other places but they don't compare to the level of service and hospitality the staff offer here. Im quite particular withwhere I stay and nothing is too much to ask and iv have honestly never come across an... More
