This was my first visit to this little hotel but won't be the last. It was comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were without exception cheerful, friendly and helpful. I was late booking and had the last single room which had its own facilities but not on the same floor. I was a bit disconcerted but got used... More

It was worst service we have experience in my whole life. We did not stay in this location but we wanted to have our lunch in the Restaurant. The restaurant was completely empty even though it was a busy lunch time outside. When we asked for menu, the old lady (she looked like Chinese/Japanese/Korian) handed over the menu and I... More

Probably the friendliest hotel staff we've ever met. Nice clean rooms. We were in the UK for one month and this hotel definitely had the best showers; nice hot water with good pressure. We had a nice meal in their Cantonese restaurant which was expensive but definitely worth it. 5 pound continental breakfast was perfect and you can pay more... More

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting family. Very convenient for the train station and shops, bars and restaurants. Extremely helpful staff on arrival and throughout the stay. Room was small but comfortable and quiet. Chose the continental breakfast and there was plenty of choice. Great little place to stay

This small hotel, near Bangor Rail Station, is the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival, our daughter (booked in a single) was upgraded to a spacious twin room. Both her room and our double room were clean and comfortable. A lovely personal touch...when we entered our room, they had put balloons up to celebrate my husband's birthday.... More

From the helpfulness of the staff, to the wonderful food- it was one of the best experiences I've had eating at a Chinese restaurant. (Or any restaurant!) I went there with a group of 20 friends to celebrate a birthday, and on arrival I asked a member of staff if they had any vegan dishes. She was so helpful; went... More

Didn't stay in this hotel but had a lovely meal. No waiting for table. Great service from friendly staff. Very nice with children. Food was very nice. Portions size was great. Very reasonable pricing. Would eat there again

Lovely local hotel situated conveniently by the train station. Staff were very helpful and polite during check in and throughout my stay. Room was spotlessly clean and the decor was classic rather than 'dated' as some reviews say (think this is the theme throughout the hotel). Thank you, see you in September!

So impressed by the pride the owner and staff have for this little gem. Yes the decor is a bit dated but it's very clean and comfy and the food is delicious. I've stayed in 5* hotels and never had such amazing service.
