we stayed here because it was dog friendly. We had a lovely big pleasant room with everything we wanted. Nice and quiet and nice staff. Would stay again. Great value for money. With burger king next door and The little chef, the location is very good

Nothing spectacular about this travelodge, but it's always been clean, tidy and quiet whenever I've stayed. Mist of the staff are fine, they do their job and will occasionally chat to you if they feel in the mood. The joining burger king and little chef are nithing special; greasy, quick and too expensive for what you recieve. You're better off... More

Travelodge is travelodge. Cheap and cheerful and best of all - we can bring our dog. We arrived late at night- and there was no power in the first room allocated to us. The pleasant receptionist sorted us out with a replacement room quickly so overall we can have no complaints. These things happen. The place seemed clean and the... More

What a let down; the hotel looks a little sad and run down from the outside but when you get in to the rooms it's much worse. Our room was dingy, dirty with marks on the wall and was in serious need of re-decoration. This place really does need a complete refurb, a lot of the appliances were broken eg,... More

Myself and my husband stayed for one night at new year 2014. The hotel is at a services off a roundabout just before the road to bangor itself (bout 5-10 mins drive). The building was in dire need of modernization. But a quiet location, clean rooms and brilliant views up to the mountains. The little chef attached was convenient and... More

We've stayed in lots of travelodges around the country, so know what to expect. You do get what you pay for. We always choose travelodges that state on their website that they've recently been refurbished. I'm not sure if this one has been; the corridors had stains on carpets, and the doors to rooms seemed old, battered and still used... More

Having just stayed at Bangor this weekend, I was glad to see that it had been renovated since our last visit. So much better. The lady on Reception was very helpful and immediately sorted out an issue we had. It was a quiet room which was a relief after a busy long day. Compliments to all staff which I dealt... More

Very friendly staff and helpful staff. The beds were just as comfortable as the adverts say they are. Everything was very clean. A very nice room. I shall certainly stay there again when I go to Bangor

My partner and I stayed for two night recently and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was large and overlooked a nice lawn with a pond and some trees. The room and sheets were very clean. It was warm and quiet. Good price too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only slight negative was that the... More
