We stayed 2 nights at this Travelodge with our grandsons age 7 and 3. We chose it because of its position and a friends recommendation. It is a really good base, on the outskirts of Bangor, for visiting Snowdonia, Anglesey and other parts of North Wales. The people on reception were unfailingly pleasant and friendly giving us advice on things... More

We chose to stay here as it is close to family we were visiting. We have been quite a few times and the rooms have improved with the recent updates. However in the family rooms the camp beds are awful and so uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for a real single bed which would have vastly improved the experience.... More

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room didn't have a nice smell though. The water pressure was really poor. The maid didn't make the bed properly on our second night.

Travelodge can be a bit hit and miss. We stayed here two years ago and we're underwhelmed then. The place has had a make over since and is cosmetically much improved. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed in our room were not clean when we checked in so we asked to be moved rooms. They happily did this but it... More

This place was much worth than ErylMor inside the city. Very clean, spacious that with a double bedroom we could comfortably manage 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff were very playing and friendly. There is no breakfast from Travelodge. So had breakfast at a restaurant in the same premises. The staff and the food were horrible. If I have anything... More

excellent stay, friendly staff and clean rooms. Special thanks to the manager Andy who went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. The facilities surrounding the hotel were fantastic and the views of the mountains were fantastic which was an added bonus! Highly recommended.

Stated here one night when I was getting the ferry to Dublin, late arrival and early departure, so decided on a cheap place to stay The entrance was full of people smoking and swearing, not a nice welcome, my original room was at the very end on the hotel next to the generator, I had to insist on being moved... I am not too proud to admit that I have previously been in an abusive relationship. My then girlfriend put me down, destroyed my confidence, created problems with my family and isolated me away from my friends, scarring friendships that are still recovering all these years on. I was a broken man. Very dark days indeed. However, none of this... More

Lovely night stay at Bangor. Staff was very friendly, good value for money. Overall 10/10 for service, the room, cleanliness etc. Would recommend to anyone. The location was perfect as it was only 7 miles away from where we was going.
