We cannot agree with some of the views. Yes, the Travelodge would benefit from a refit, but we found it clean and tidy with friendly staff. Being an older style 'Lodge meant larger bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent location and value, would use again.

Needed a budget location for 3 nights whilst in the area to visit our daughter. Great location and rooms basic but clean. Bath very small, so uncomfortable unless your a child. Handy service station nearby for snacks etc and has a "Little Chef" and a "Burger King"attached.

This hotel is badly in need of some refurbishment, staff are ok but always look glum but then again it must be a depressing place to work.
