I stayed here with my husband and son on Saturday 21st March as we had travelled here to go to Zip World and this was one of the only places that would take our booking and we'd only lose the refund if the Zip ride got cancelled. We arrived at 2.30pm and checked in fine. We were greeted by a... More

I stayed here overnight on 18th March before my final day's cycling to Holyhead. The room was big enough for my needs though I reckon it would have been cramped had there been two of us staying in it. The TV signal was a bit rubbish at times; nothing worth complaining about as far as I am concerned but a... More

All quite clean but there were some damaged parts - broken tiles and loose woodwork in the bathroom, for example - although it's fairly obvious the renovation works are continuing. It's right opposite the train station, meaning that the light from there shines straight into the rooms at the front. Also there was quite loud music pumping out until gone... More

Very easy going and nice venue to spend a weekend away. Good location with the train station directly opposite, and Bangor High Street under a ten minute walk away. Public transport in the form of buses is approximately 30 seconds away as well, with services towards Anglesey running frequently. Staff were enthusiastic and friendly, and the food was nice. Evenings... More

went with a friend here today and had the beef dinner, well worth it, It was very tasty, hot and presented well, the price and venue was ok, but the staff service and friendliness was really welcoming and helpful, would definitely go here again and recommend to anyone who fancies a Sunday lunch out

I have just witnessed a total transformation to this hotel. The new manager has definitely left her mark and has completely transformed this hotel. The meal we had was excellent and reasonably priced, the rooms are know very well equipped, clean and obviously very well serviced. Great location if travelling by train.
