We chose the Bodalwyn for our reunion get together for six former(1960s) students at the local university plus partners. We found the location very handy- only a 100 yards from the prom and within sight of the sea. Clive and Hilary were very friendly and helpful and provided a cosy, 'family run' feel to our weekend experience. The rooms were... more

My wife and I stayed for a week and were very impressed with the decor, location and the hospitality of the owners. Our room was well furnished, spotlessly clean (as was the whole guest house) and the en-suite was of a good size with excellent shower and copious amounts of hot water any time of the day. The bed linen... more

It was a joy to stay here, from arrival to departure we couldn't find a fault and were made to feel very welcome. We’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that don’t match up to this place. The bedroom and en-suite were immaculate and the bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The room facilities included a kettle... more

We stayed at Bodalwyn Guest House in May for one night on our way to visit friends in Bethesda. The room we stayed in was at the front of the building with a bit of a view towards the ocean and promenade. The room was very spacious and well appointed and the ensuites were also of a good size and... more

We stopped at the Bodalwyn for one night on Thursday 28th August and we were very impressed. Customer service is A1, rooms are great and very clean and tidy (Ours was on the top floor) Breakfast was hearty and nothing was to much trouble for the owners who were really nice. Bit pricey for the location but that’s it and... more

We recently stayed in the Bodalywyn Guesthouse in Aberystwyth, just a 30 second walk from the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the Pier. As soon as we made initial contact with the owners, they were friendly, accomodating and very informative. We arrived to find them just as lovely in the flesh and the guesthouse lived up to the... more

Bodalwyn stands out from the B&B crowd in Aber - it is good value, the rooms are clean and furnished beautifully, the hosts friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts excellent. Location is good, just back off the prom to avoid the student rabble and parking is usually not a problem on street or in the carpark opposite at weekends. Have... more

My husband and I landed on the doorstep of Bodalwyn having had a terrible stay elsewhere the night before and could not have chosen anywhere better to stay. The room was modern, tasteful, light and airy, spacious (even though i think we may have been in one of the smaller rooms) and spotless. We were one road back from the... more

We stayed at the Bodalwyn Guest House in May '07 and would highly recommend this B&B. Rooms are all en suite and furnished in Victorian style. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The guest house is situated in a quiet road just off the prom towards the Consti end. Parking is on road during the day but at... more

We have just returned form a 2 night stay in Aberystwyth. We were there to visit our daughter who is at Aberystwyth Uni. After many stays in Aberystwyth we found what we thought was a excellent B&B. We stayed at the Bodalwyn Guest House. We received a friendly welcome, the rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and warm. Lovely hot shower, which... more
