Booked less than 24 hours before arrival direct with hotel, this worked out better value than the various websites supposedly offering cheaper deals. Could not fault the room, with it's crisp white linen or the the freshly cooked breakfast despite the dining room being busy. The staff when you found them could not be faulted, however, if the reception desk... More

We found the Queensbridge hotel via laterooms, needing somewhere to stay close to Tregaron. The room on the second floor was clean and airy, with bright white linen and towels. The bathroom was immaculate and we were glad of the hospitality tray and toiletries. We were able to book in late, after 8pm, having been held up, and the receptionist... More

A pretty standard beach side hotel. All facilities seem fine and average. Planning on a short stay I would say fine. Staying for longer I would recommend shopping around. If you are not as mobile or are disabled I would ring first and make sure either you are staying on the ground floor or phone ahead to make sure the... More

Spent two nights there in July in room 1 on the first floor which was fairly large with a very nice sea view and nicely decorated, confortable bed lots of coffee tea etc. However that was the only good bit. The bathroom was clean and fresh but it was rather small and very difficult to find room to sit on... More

Fancy having your room sold from under you? ,well this happened to us, after we had our late rooms.com booking confirmation for the Belgrave Hotel, not the Queensbridge .We even had the reservation acknowledgement for the Belgrave and a fixed price. we received the call from the Belgrave on the day of our stay, the owner told us he had... Was not sure what to expect given the other reviews. When you enter the hotel the decor is dated but my room was a pleasant surprise. The room had been recently refurbished and was good value for money. Breakfast was not pleasant, served downstairs in the dark and dingy basement the food was poor quality, milk was off and some... Oh dear, were do I begin. The only reason we stayed in this hotel was because my husband & daughter stayed there in Jan 2014 & recommended it as their room at that time overlooked the sea and was very spacious. on arrival the receptionist was very nice. Our room was on the 3rd floor. The lift was out of... More

We were originally booked into the Belgrave Hotel but were called the day before to say we had been located to the Queensbridge. We were not very happy because my husband had stayed prior to this and had an attic room in which there was stratching rats or pigeons keeping him awake. The life wasn't working, which entailed 5 flights... More

First of all - we never expected to stay in The Queensbridge as we originally tried to book Ty Belgrave - their "sister" hotel further down the prom. I received a phone call the day before we arrived to tell me that they had a new receptionist who had mixed up the bookings so they were moving us to a... More
