Stayed over the weekend. Extraordinary good value, very comfortable accommodation, excellent views across the bay and a thoroughly good breakfast. The place may be a little tired decoratively, but is superbly well run with very friendly and efficient service

In need of attention and upgrade . Lots of stairs and poor decor for £85 cost. But, clean, good location and comfy beds. Request a sea view . Our room was at the top which had great view , but low ceilings and masking tape to huff patches in wall . Phone did not work

As another reviewer has said, don't come here expecting the Ritz, but if you're looking for a generously sized room with a wonderful sea view and you don't mind if the place is a bit in need of a face lift - you should be as pleased as we were. The room and ensuite were very clean and the bed... More

Ok so I booked this via late rooms on the day we visited as we urgently needed somewhere to stay, only to panic when I then read the reviews on here. What I will say to those in a similar position is - don't panic. Yes its ram shackled, the stairs are slightly at the wrong angle, and the decor... More

Ridiculous service. Booked this only yesterday to stay 1 night for a friend's birthday on Saturday. Friend has been ill for a couple of days and told me this morning she won't make it out. Queensbridge refused to let me cancel without charge, despite my explaining the situation. My friend's hotel - The Starling Cloud, Aberystwyth - let her cancel... More

The Queensbridge is truly a treasure of a hotel. Myself and my partner, our families and various friends have stayed at the hotel over a good few years and have never found a fault. Last night we stayed as part of a weekend away to revisit some of our old haunts from university. Sharon on the desk was so lovely... More

Fancied a night away in Aber, and this really was a good choice. The room was in fact a triple with 3 tub chairs in the Bay window looking out to sea. We spent ages there as there was a sunset such as I,ve never seen before...but that's hardly the hotel's responsibility!! Fabulous view and great noise of waves all... More

Worst night sleep due to allowing lads sharing rooms, and no one in charge at night. A couple of girls told the manager in charge they were frightened, due to lads drunken noisy exchanges, bad language, slamming doors and trying to get into other rooms. This eventually finished at 4.30.
