We stayed here for our honeymoon Monday 13th October to Thursday 16th October,as always great food, great service & great room. Very kind & helpful staff.we come here every year & that's why we decided to have our honeymoon here. We can't believe some of the negative reviews on here, they must be on about another hotel as we have... More

I booked the Marine hotel for my disabled mum,s birthday w/end for family get together so that we could return to Aberystwth where we all shared great memories of our childhood. From the time we arrived to the time we left all the staff were so kind and considerate to us all, especially our dear mother, The rooom was excellent... More

Good location, quick check in, reasonable room and bathroom. Lift was full of stinking bed clothes and curtains and the chef went home at 8pm so we couldn't have an evening meal. Unimpressed and won't return.

Be prepared for live music on a Saturday night til 1am from functions being held at hotel. We didn't however expect to be next to the live band! But were told "well you should have read the notice in reception and what do you expect on a Saturday night in Aber". We paid £120 for a compact room with a... More

Reviews of this hotel are either fantastic or dreadful. I think it is a typical British seaside hotel. Privately owned and thus subject to limited funds for upgrading with seasonal staff who don't get corporately trained. We stayed in room 122 which is actually a family suite of two rooms and an opulent bathroom. No views., but really quiet and... More

We rolled up at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. 'Any chance you can make our day and find us a room with a sea view?' I asked. A smiley receptionist peered at her computer screen and said 'Sorry we're full BUT we have an annex a couple of doors down 'Atlantic', and there's one sea view room left there that I... More

We spent 2 nights here in late July while attending a wedding locally. We had a family room that was more like a flat. The bed was comfortable and the room was, if anything, too well appointed. Basically it had so much furniture and beds in it that it felt like a store room. The windows were difficult to open... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding which was held in the hotel. We booked rather late and there were only two doubles left, no sea view rooms left which was fair enough. After reading so many negative reviews I was not expecting much. Reception was busy but staff were friendly. Our room was smallish but very prettily... More

I stayed in the annexe of The Marine for my hen weekend. The rooms were fantastic, clean, comfortable, big, and looked out on to the sea front. The breakfast was brilliant, continental and full English available (buffet style). Highly recommended.

This hotel was very disappointing even though it was on the sea front with a sea view. The staff were very nice and helpful, the food was ok so no problems there but we expected parking and there were only a few spaces and they were all taken. We were lucky to find a space down the road. The bed... More
