Booked for one nite. Warm welcome from the man behind the bar. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Shower amazing, bath robes were a nice touch. Didn't realise we had breakfast included which was delivered on a tray to our room. We didn't experience any noise but it was the Easter break so the town was very quiet. The hotel is a... More

Stayed one night in the top floor room with a round window with a sea view. Spectacularly clean room, very comfortable bed and friendly staff. There is no kitchen so a cold breakfast in-room is the only option but there are plenty of good cafes within walking distance. Great location with plenty of free parking nearby. This is my third... Just had a second comfortable stay here whilst visiting our student daughter. The very clean accommodation is well insulated from any pub sound so no issue! Indeed we spent some time watching the rugby and enjoying a variety of beers and cider. For us no breakfast was ideal. Found out as we were leaving they have an amazing Eco cleaning... More

Stayed here for a break over the New Year and had a really super time. We were made to feel really welcome by the team here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room, Room 6, was tastefully laid out to a very high quality. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located behind the... More

Really enjoyed our stay in these tastefully refurbished rooms above the historic pub. Rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable so we had everything we wanted. I would have preferred to have a bit more control over the heating levels - perhaps an opening window. The breakfast gets served on a butler's tray at a time you specify the night... More

Do not stay here. It is dreadful. I stayed whilst visiting my son who had started at the university, for a Friday night. It is not a hotel, but rooms ( at London rates) above a hotel which at the weekend serves until 3am followed by another noisy hour leaving. On the night I did not sleep at all..the noise of... More

Fantastic hotel. Room was immaculate, well furnished and comfortable. Stayed on the second floor which was very quiet. Had our own bath robes included. Bathroom was gorgeous with a great shower! Staff were very helpful and let us check in early. Entire hotel was spotless and well kept. Breakfast was included and was a great choice of continental food. Brought... More

I love this place, I choose to stay here for business whenever in Aberystwyth. The rooms are marvellous, and very well appointed. The staff are superb. Yes, it's a hotel situated above a very popular pub, and may not be up some peoples street. Once you check in, there is a separate entrance you can use with your rom key... More

Clean well appointed room above a very noisy bar with juke box which denied sleep until the early hours on a Monday night in September. Card filled in for an early cold breakfast to be served in the room, there is no hot alternative. Thankfully tea and coffee making kit was in the room otherwise it would have been truly... More

Have stayed a few times in various rooms. Last there for University graduation week. Never had a problem with noise, perhaps because I've been there at the start and end of term! Parking has always been easy, usually on the street outside. There is also unlimited free parking on the prom, or as a last resort cheap 24 hr parking... More
