Beautifully newly refurbished bedrooms above a pub. I would not classify this as a hotel as I would have expected somewhere to have had breakfast. We were pleased that we did not pay to have breakfast in our room as we found an excellent restaurant to have a full English breakfast in the town cheaper than the price of the... More

My daughter & I stayed as part of our Welsh road trip. The staff were really friendly and lovely to chat to. The room was a delight - comfortable, spacious, well appointed plus lovely views of the sea. The parking was easy with the south beach 2 mins away & town an easy stroll away. Highly recommended.

Lovely, friendly staff. Excellent location - you can see and hear the sea from the hotel! Within a stroll of local restaurants and bars but also in a peaceful area. Beautiful, clean rooms. I went for a weekend with friends and we had a great time, I will definately return with the kids over the summer holidays. Thank you for... More

Our lovely Room was impressive with comfortable beds and a view of the sea. Very helpful and welcoming staff. We really enjoyed the breakfasts which were brought to our room at a time selected by us. Plenty of local choice and we totally recommend the welsh cakes. In an ideal location being near to the castle ruins, the seafront, shops... More

Loved the lady who cleaned/gave out breakfast/restocked the rooms. The cheeriest and most helpful person you could imagine. Rooms immaculate with lovely furnishings. After initially going into the bar to check in, you can enter/exit by a side entrance which is unlocked only by your key card so it's very safe and you don't have to worry about security when... The hotel is an Edwardian hotel with the original plans encased inside the staircase and I thought this seemed very nice. It doubles up a pub to the locals with the rooms situated above the pub. The room itself was quite pleasant and you could see had been recently renovated. The windows needed a clean but other than that very... More

This is a great place to stay with really clean and well presented rooms but it's not without its drawbacks. It's a great pub downstairs but not so great when you're above it trying to sleep! Noise wasn't outrageous but some people might not be able to handle it. Also there is no food in the pub so you'll have... More

Rooms are excellent would rate a 5 but noise from pub was very loud and went on into early hours. This place is confused in whether to be hotel or local pub. Ordered breakfast with booking but no record of this wasn't offered after. No one around this am when we left

This is a pub hotel complete with colourful language in the bar! The bedrooms are a surprise and far above its weight. Very nice all round. The only down side is that you have to go out for food and Breakfast is cold but delivered to your door. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay there... More

Just stayed here for 2 nights with friends on a weekend visiting our student daughter. From the outside it looks just like a little pub as does the first bit on entering with its pool table and dukebox. but the friendliest most accomodating people ever. the pub has a lovely little fire to sit around, they handed out homemade mince...
