I booked the hotel last minute and although only one other guest nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal was great. House wine was great, staff were friendly. Stayed for my daughters Graduation. Room clean and comfortable. Near to university but quiet and rural. Stayed for dinner which was tasty and well prepared,as was breakfast. Please do not be put off by some of the negative reviews,

The setting is fine. Room clean. Could be cold in winter. TV very temperamental---noticed other rooms also complained. Family run. Tried to be efficient but too casual in dress and appearance. Did not fancy the food served by the man with very black elbows.
