A dirty, shabby and unappealing hotel. Where to begin stained carpet, torn bedclothes, rotten window sills, mould on walls, dust on everything,Rubbish left on top of wardobe, towel rail and toilet roll holder broken,Mould in kettle.Stains on walls and ceiling. People serving time at her majestys pleasure probably sleep in a better quality room than the one we paid for. Guests... More

The place is certainly in need of some serious updating eg window frames, curtains and decoration. Having said that, our room was large warm and comfortable and clean, and all the plumbing was in good working order. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, and service was friendly. Fairly short walk into the centre of town. Good value comfort and convenience for £60... More

Having recently visited I found the hotel warm and the bed comfortable, the previous reports on here about shoddy furniture/ decor are unfounded in my opinion, and are much better than I'm used to. However I'm used to sleeping in the industrial bin at the back of Sainsbury using soggy cabbage as a pillow and a past its sell by... More

We had a two night stay in Worcester for a wedding and the St. Lawrence was perfect. If you look past the fact that the place needs a lot of updating and take into account the rooms are only £55 per night, you can't go wrong. I would call it more of a bed and breakfast as opposed to a... More

A charming little hotel, close to Worcester city centre. A friendly, personal service delivered by the staff. The room was a good size and fully met my expectations. Breakfast cooked to order and served in the light and airy dining room. I would definitely stay again as the St. Lawrence offers excellent value for money.

Stayed here many times over the years. Hotel is a large old Period House Mansion located within 5 minutes walking distance of the city center. We always leave our car at the hotel when we go into Worcester to avoid car parking charges. The hotel is dated and needs a major injection of cash to bring it back to it's... More

The least welcoming reception we have ever known ; Locked front door, shuttered office. Room was a top floor attic room yet still very noisy from outside and within , as late as 4PM. It was in a terrible state of repair and generally shabby, previous roof leaks and mould still in evidence. Furniture was old , mismatched, including the... More

You walk in and you think 'wow, that looks nice' and then you slowly start noticing all the little bits that have started to fall apart. A nice big room with a big old bed. The tv (remote?) was broken. The wallpaper starts to peal. The shower head was hanging down, the bin was broken, just to name a few... More

This is the worst hotel i have EVER stayed. As soon as you enter you are greeted by a foul smell; old fat & grease in the kitchen. Room was a disgrace. Dirty, grubby, filthy. Stained walls, stained bedlinen, wallpaper & paint peeling off. Breakfast was awful, cheap items & swimming in FAT. Stick to the toast. This place should... More

Location is fantastic, can't complain on price. Rooms do need a good clean, and the breakfast, heart attack material. Swimming in oil. Place is suitable for tradesmen working away. You wouldn't want to use it as a nice weekend away.
