Stayed here many times over the years. Hotel is a large old Period House Mansion located within 5 minutes walking distance of the city center. We always leave our car at the hotel when we go into Worcester to avoid car parking charges. The hotel is dated and needs a major injection of cash to bring it back to it's... More

The least welcoming reception we have ever known ; Locked front door, shuttered office. Room was a top floor attic room yet still very noisy from outside and within , as late as 4PM. It was in a terrible state of repair and generally shabby, previous roof leaks and mould still in evidence. Furniture was old , mismatched, including the... More

You walk in and you think 'wow, that looks nice' and then you slowly start noticing all the little bits that have started to fall apart. A nice big room with a big old bed. The tv (remote?) was broken. The wallpaper starts to peal. The shower head was hanging down, the bin was broken, just to name a few... More

This is the worst hotel i have EVER stayed. As soon as you enter you are greeted by a foul smell; old fat & grease in the kitchen. Room was a disgrace. Dirty, grubby, filthy. Stained walls, stained bedlinen, wallpaper & paint peeling off. Breakfast was awful, cheap items & swimming in FAT. Stick to the toast. This place should... More

Location is fantastic, can't complain on price. Rooms do need a good clean, and the breakfast, heart attack material. Swimming in oil. Place is suitable for tradesmen working away. You wouldn't want to use it as a nice weekend away.

Good location, close to the cricket ground and Cathedral, and cheap. Thats the good bits... We had two rooms. in one the taps were loose, toilet seat loose, pervading smell of curry. In both rooms, dirty stained carpets, grubby bedspreads, cobwebs, crumbs, and fingermarks on the walls. We were not shown to our rooms, just given keys by a polite... More

I stayed for a week whilst working on a site in Worcester. The hotel staff were accommodating, and the rooms were suitable for a stay away job, although I may have been tempted to book elsewhere had it been a holiday rather than work related trip. The internet access was a little temperamental, as was the heating, the building seemed... More

The hotel is in a great location, quiet and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The only reason we booked this hotel was the free parking and free breakfast. We parked on the street as the car park was full and the breakfast consisted of stale bread, warm yogurts and small packets of cereal, (no cooked breakfast or... More

Hi stayed here for 1 night with my partner and baby. Room was a bit dated although was ok for 1 night. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately we were cold in the night even with the heating on full blast. Asked for a cot for the baby (6 months) but they said they didn't have any. Warm shower. Lady on reception very... More

we were needing only a base to stay as were meeting friends who we had not seen in 20yrs. On approach the hotel looked a little tired, but there was plenty of parking the week we stayed. The member of staff on reception was very reserved but pleasant. The room I booked was a ground floor addition being separated from the... More
