Booked this for an afternoon conference. It is down winding country lane. On arrival one member of staff on the phone another on the computer. Took about 10 mins to get served. A bit of a Faulty towers establishment. Workshop room fine, buffet food fairly basic with thick cheese sandwiches but apart from that appeared to work well. Seems a... More

I had reason to stay at The Pear tree for a business meeting and accommodation the night before. Despite not having a policy on dogs, when I confirmed that my collie was well behaved Jason could not have been more helpful and not only organised a room but one big enough for my dog as well. The staff were all... More

My daughter & Son-in-Law held their wedding reception at The Pear Tree Hotel last Saturday. I just wanted to convey my thanks to the 'team' for their help & assistance to ensure everything ran smoothly. Matt, the Deputy Manager deserves a special THANK YOU as nothing seemed too much trouble for him. He was efficient, friendly & helpful & communicated... More

The hotel is in a great location with good access to the M5 but far enough in the country side to make it a nice comfortable stay. I booked a standard double room but ended up with a roomy suite. (great bonus). The room was slightly tired but very clean and tidy. The food and the service were both very... More

We would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at the The Pear Tree who helped to make our day perfect. From the initial meetings with Tracie to the op's staff on the day, especially Michelle, Sam and Sos. Nothing was to much trouble. Everyone commented on the great food and friendliness of all the... We only popped into The Pear Tree Inn just to have a look and we never looked any where else, it was lovely, grounds are beautiful and excellent for wedding photos, I think the only one problem I had was in the day we had the garden room and when we came in I noticed my cake was lop sided... More

Emailed the manager regarding awful experience (Sunday lunch) - received initial response that the sad matter would be investigated (6 weeks ago) - alas no more to report - seems their poor customer service (lack of) extends to poor customer care (nada!)

Positives: friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; quiet rural and peaceful location; ample, safe car parking; spacious bedrooms; very nice evening meal; easy access from rooms and to and from car park Negatives: Bathroom required décor, dated and unclean in places; bedroom was dated in its décor; interior bar/dining area was dark with no windows/natural light - gloomy to say the... Slightly out of the way but worth the detour. Good value rooms and value for money food. Friendly staff once we arrived but had an issue when trying to book in that the lady on the phone insisted her price was the same as Booking.com when in in fact they were £10.00 cheaper; guess who I booked with! The hotel... More

Travelling south on the M5, we came off at J6 and after passing the Worcester Warriors rugby ground got to the hotel via a narrow country lane. Quite a remote location but a nice looking building with large car park. Very friendly welcome from Jane on reception who could not have been more helpful, especially with local Worcester information. Big,... More
