We went to the Diglis House Hotel for afternoon tea on Sunday 26th July as one of my birthday treats. We arrived and were shown into the side room overlooking the terrace and then to our table by the window. Excellent table choice although it was raining outside but it still did not spoil the event. Tea was served and... More

This hotel looks great on arrival - lovely interior with antique furniture, right on the River Severn, conservatory restaurant and a nice room with a great bathroom. Great location for the cathedral and the porcelain museum. We had one of the superior rooms and were comfortable with one ghastly exception which I mentioned on leaving, but with no redress and... Having just come back from Devon and had freshly caught fish and chips in a number of seaside restaurants where you would expect the best fish available, well the Diglis has beat the lot. Pure white cod flakes, perfectly cooked in a very light batter with virtually no grease, served with excellent chips and peas and a chunky tartar sauce,... More

I booked a suite here for the night of my wedding and had relatively high expectations considering the price of the room. However, I was disappointed in that there was dust covering nearly every surface. Almost like the room had been vacant for a while. My bedside lamp would not work, the TV remote was held together with sticky tape... More

We decided to eat here on Friday 10th July, after coming to Worcester for a day trip with family. Incredible location right on the edge of the River Severn, the picture on here does not do it justice. Glorious day and complemented by a brilliant lunch sat on the terrace. There surely cannot be a better place in Worcester to... More

Located next to the river the hotel has wonderful views. It's an easy and pleasant 10 minute walk into Worcester and close to the Cathedral, the Royal Worcester Porcelain museum and shop and the fantastic Tudor/Georgian/ Civil War museum The Commandery. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant serves traditional but tasty and reasonably priced food. The... More

We just had our Wedding reception here yesterday in the Seymour Suite is there a better venue anywhere if you get good weather? We think not! We had Afternoon Tea for our wedding breakfast and it was amazing, food was beautiful and staff were on top of everything. The night party changed to an 80s theme with a fish and... More

Three times a year I travel down from the north west for horse racing at Worcester. Following the decision of the owners of the excellent B & B I have previously used to retire, I had to look again and by great good fortune, found Diglis House. Situated on the banks of the Severn about one third of a mile's... More

My wife and I recently celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary with family and friends with Sunday Lunch at the Diglis House Hotel - food was excellent, Michelle and the team were very efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed overnight in a room in the annex, it was clean and very comfortable with a view overlooking the garden and river. Great... More

My family and i enjoyed a Father's Day lunch at the Diglis House Hotel. I have visited this hotel on numerous occasions for food and drink during the past few years and it never seems to disappoint. Firstly, it is set on the banks of the River Severn between Worcester and Diglis. There is plenty of outside seating with lovely... More
