Attended a surprise birthday meal. The food was average nothing special. The service was ok. There was a problem with the bill which spoiler the evening really. It is much nicer here in the summer out by the river I wouldn't really suggest going here in the winter.

We stayed here fro three nights over new year with another couple. The hotel is extremely well positioned on the banks of the Severn and just down from the cathedral. We chose this hotel because the new year dinner dance allowed us to have a table for 4 (in fact there were all sizes of table from 2 up), this... More

Stayed here for the office Xmas party. Not many parking spaces on the hotel grounds. Hotel was nice enough but the room I had was in an annex away from the main hotel, room was on the small side as was the shower. Bar was good, just need the bar staff to smile a bit more. Difficult to judge the... More

My partner, Theresa, and I stayed at this lovely, idyllically situated hotel from December 24th to the 30th. We took advantage of a Christmas package deal but also booked three extra nights, in order to visit not only Worcester, but also Hereford and Gloucester. The Accommodation: From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and made to feel very... More

Thanks for another great Christmas event. Excellent friendly service at both the bar, table and after-hours bar. Food was lovely and a great room in the conservatory. A super spot hidden away. Good spacious clean rooms too.

Stayed here to go to Cheltenham races and loved this hotel. It's quite old fashioned but that is the style of the place we loved the huge rooms overlooking the river and the bathroom was really up to date. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were all great. We will probably stay here again and bring our dogs as it's... More

Tucked away around the backstreets between Bath Road and the Cathedral, delightful decorous "period" hotel with tranquil views of the river. There were plenty of parking spaces, although some of our party had enjoyed accessing there via the new river bridge. Would be enjoyable using that bridge any time of year, but helped allay worries of festive shopper traffic. The... More

Well, I have to say, at Sienna X, we all had a brilliant party night on Friday 11th December. The menu was £32.50 per head and the standard of food was surprisingly good. I never expect much when it comes to mass catering at a xmas party. My tartlet starter was delicious and well presented and the beef main course,... More

Nice spot. Opted for their best room/suite. Glad we did. It was lovely. Airy, light but period with great views onto the river. Could spend time in it easily. Reasonable bathroom. Preferred to take meals in the room after the first night's experience. Not that it was poor- the waitress was helpful and efficient. The young lad less so. But... More

I attended a Christmas lunch for 19 in the WIlliam Leader room which has a river view and is next to the bar and has a reception area before sitting down to eat. The thoughtful staff had written the menu choices on a name card for each guest to pick up and take with them to their chosen seat. Jugs... More
