This hotel is very well placed for exploring Worcester. The building is lovely. The staff are young and enthusiastic. That's the good news However, the food is really poor. Breakfast is a chaotic experience, the quality of the food produce is not good. I ate out in the evening rather than try the restaurant, as breakfast and lunch had put... more

Stayed here for 2 nites from 8 May with a coach party . This was a change from the advertised hotel and the previous reviews were met with trepidation! The hotel is dated and could do with a revamp BUT the bedlinen was spotless and the bathroom likewise- I checked it with a dettol wipe! Our room was very spacious... more

Old glove factory and the building itself looks fantastic in brochures & the exterior but once inside it's a different matter. Spacious reception area but unclean, the tiled flooring carrying huge cracks and the windows dirty. Adequate sized bedrooms buy tired with 80's furniture, torn net curtains and dirty bathrooms. The management team conisisted of a rather slack duo - the... more

Stayed here for two nights. The decor is tired and dated, surprising as this hotel advertises £150pn for a double room. My room was ok sized, but the TV was appauling, the bathroom was grotty and my room was dark. I also made the mistake of ordering room service, the food was uninspired and bland. I had to venture out... more

The weekend was planned as a Birthday Treat - an ideal opportunity for the whole family to enjoy together. This was an ideal time to assess a hotel in time for a Christmas break and shopping spree. The hotel is a beautiful building (in a very poor state of repair) in a perfect location for the city centre. Unfortunately, the... more

This could be a great hotel - if I had the money I might buy it. It has a fantastic location just a few steps from the centre of Worcester. It is a beautiful and interesting building; being an old Victorian glove factory. And it has nice outside areas with lots of potential. All it needs is a major refurbishment.... more

We have stayed in this hotel before because of its convenience to the centre of Worcester. We had an executive room, which was not worth the money we spent on it. We were there for eight nights so we expected our sheets to be changed at least once during that time. It would have been nice to have had our... more

Stating with the positives - the location is pretty convenient, and the receptionists that dealt with us couldn't have been nicer. They also allowed us to have drinks after the bar was closed in a pretty courtyard just through reception which was good. Finally, the (second) room that we were given after complaining was at least a good size, if... more

I only stayed for one night at £60 for the room, when the nearby Travelodge [a chain of basic hotels] wanted to charge £55, and it was a very reasonable price to pay for what I got. The room was clean, the service friendly, and the breakfast very reasonable, at least by English standards. My minor quibbles are: 1) Room... more

My heart sank when I saw the location next to a very busy ring road. In fairness, traffic noise was not a problem in the room. The whole place feels a bit neglected and dated. The public rooms and my bedroom all felt tired. The lighting in the bedroom was dim and made reading hard work. The staff were friendly... more
