First time staying in a Wetherspoons Hotel... and it will be the last! Ok, £49.00 a night isn't that expensive but there are cheaper deals out there that cater for a basic budget (Travelodge, Premier Inn, DeVere deals...) and which meet all the criteria for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We were met on arrival by mountains of dirty sheets... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. We arrived by train at the Great Malvern station which is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Check in is from 2pm. The room was lovely, clean and better than expected. We had booked a room at the rear of the building which provided lovely views of the Severn Valley.... More

We booked the downstairs bar for a family funeral function on Monday 20th October and cannot express how wonderful and helpful the staff were in catering for us all. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they ensured that, on this very sad day for us, we were looked after both food and drinks-wise. Can't thank you guys enough.... More

We parked in the car park behind the hotel, no signs saying not to and it had been used in the past by hubby. We went to check in just 10 mins early and were told we'd have to wait in the bar they were still cleaning the room. We went for a walk around the town instead, returning about... More

My wife booked me in here for a treat, which was a total let down. On arrival we parked in what we thought was the hotel car park. We asked to check in 10 mins earlier then advertised only to be told it was still being cleaned. Fair enough, so we went to the shops and had a drink while... More

on the last night of our stay we came back to the room stinking of sewage / blocked drain - receptionist staff apologised and did her best to help - in the morning a different reception staff denied there was ever a problem - even a sorry would have been nice

We booked because we were curious to find out what Wetherspoons were like in the hotel trade and we were very happy with our stay. This is a large hotel converted from an old building so there are a few original features downstairs such as high ceilings and little nooks and crannies to eat in. The bedroom we had was... More

We booked last minute to stay at the Foley Arms and as we hadn't stayed at a Wetherspoons hotel before were curious. The building is an old coaching inn which has been sympathetically restored in traditional Wetherspoon style. Our room was on the first floor facing the road and directly over the bar. This could be a recipe for disaster... More
