Stayed at the Abbey twice in the last Couple of Months, each time the rooms were completely different. The first was on the top floor, relatively small, but quiet. The second was on the same floor as reception , was more spacial and Modern, however, a plumbing noise every 30 minutes could keep a light sleeper awake. Breakfast is fine,... more

We stayed for two nights on a "body & sole " break. We stayed in a superior room which was lovely, very big with a huge bathroom, comfortable bed and chairs and sofa which were actualy realy comfy too, most unusual for hotel rooms. We had two nights evening meal with a bottle of wine on the first night and... more

Room problems - shower was a drip. Room overloked the extractors from the kitchen, therefore noisy and smely. Size of room was fine. Public areas looking very tired now. Location is great. Breakfast buffet was adequate The Abbey needs to sharpen up its act. The absence of competition in Malvern is probably the problem. more

We stopped overnight as a friend was getting married and the reception was being held here. As far as location is concerned, it really couldn't be much better, especially as it almost adjoined Great Malvern Priory where the wedding took place. The hotel is extremely attractive from the outside and as other reviewers say the public areas have obviously had... more

I have stated that the date of my stay was May 2009 but this was probably the most recent stay out of half a dozen over the last year. I will not be back unless there is nothing else available in town. On every occasion I have stayed at the Abbey I have had a problem with the room allocated... more

We had seen the trip advertised through Travelzoo, a great offer. We were going away for a friends 50th wedding anniversary so we wanted somewhere relaxing, and with the reviews on Tripadvisor this seemed to fit the bill! We were more than pleasantly surprised, although the reception staff seemed to be a little less than welcoming I think this is... more

I stayed at the hotel a good few times with my parents as a child and always found the Abbey Hotel an enchanting place. I returned in July/Aug this year (almost 25 years later!) with my husband, for a 10 day stay. The facade of the hotel is as beautiful as ever, all covered in ivy - and particularly so... more

My Best Friend had her wedding here hence the visit to this hotel - as a venue it was sufficient for the purpose it was intended - the public areas were spacious with a hint of modernisation. The photos from the website are very deceptive, they gave the impression of the hotel being located in a big open space in... more

Just returned from a 2 day break at the Abbey Hotel and can honestly say will go back again as soon as we can. We upgraded to a superior room and it was well worth the extra cost. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Lovely fluffy robes and slippers and a wonderfully confortable bed. The breakfast was everything you... more

This is the second time in 5 months we have stayed in this hotel. This tim we stayed in a recently renovated room which was nicely done (although why they didn't install decent shower is curious). The view from the room was amazing an the setting of the hotel next to the Priory in Malvern is perfect. Free WiFi works... more
