I was astonished to read some of the recent adverse comments. We have just come back from a really nice 2 night stay. We were on a special offer which included an executive room, breakfast and dinner each night with a bottle of wine. Check in was pleasant and welcoming and we were offered assistance with our luggage, The room... More

We had a superior room and our guests were upgraded to an executive. Both great in comfort and cleanliness. The staff here at The Abbey are first class, nothing is too much trouble. The food is perfect .The high... More

Arrived and its a LONG walk from car park to reception, no back entrance,=. Left our stuff in the car because we were attending a convention and we were late. Had to return to car as they wouldn't check us in without giving them a credit car there and then. NO apology for the inconvenience. Room ok, but even using... More

recently attended a wedding here, whilst the location and food was good. I have to say the price of £4.10 for a standard lager ( Carlsberg) was terrible, not to mention it was flat and had sediment floating around in it, upon 'changing the barrel' , the issue was not resolved and continued to taste disgusting. The wedding itself was... More

Excellent location right next to the Priory and the footpaths for the Malvern Hills .Shops and pubs to hand too. The old part of the hotel is full of character and we were lucky to be situated there .The room was large and very well appointed with a huge bathroom and with a side view as well as a window... Just spent a weekend at The Abbey Hotel Malvern very relaxing welcoming was very friendly and would agree drinks a bit pricey. Dinner on the Friday night was a bit hit and miss as the staff didn't seem that interested so was a bit worried for Saturday night didn't need to worry as it was a totaly different experience the... In a great place but the hotel is challenging for the less mobile/energetic- unnecessarily long trek from the car park, lots of stairs and narrow corridors. Great breakfast buffet...but finished at 9.30 on the w/e.

Excellent location with characterful older hotel building let down by poorly designed extension. Despite being full with a Saturday night event, the place felt very roomy. Room was spacious and quiet despite the Saturday night function. Attention to detail not quite the same as the Sir Christopher Wren, another hotel in the same chain (e.g. fresh milk brought to room... More

On paper this hotel has a lot going for it. Things that work are a nice looking hotel in a great location. The public areas downstairs are pleasant and the hotel is very clean. What lets it down was a superior room that was very plain and too small to attract the term superior; with tiny narrow and twisting corridors... More

Nice hotel, we had room 305 with a great view, good breakfast and a nice bar area (drinks a bit pricey) You need to be fit to get around this town so if you need a walking stick it's not really for you. The manager is good here but the reception staff need re-training. Bathroom door in the room creaked,... More
