Booked hotel at least minute as we were visiting the theatre and was a perfect location. Hotel looked lovely and rooms looked fantastic..... They were NOT!!! What was failed to be mentioned at the time of booking was that not all rooms have yet taken this make over and the room we had can only be described as a very... More

After contacting several venues in the Malvern area we settled on afternoon tea at the Mount Pleasant. 20 adults and 3 small children, a family birthday celebration Booking was easy. Plenty of car park space. Friendly helpful staff and to our surprise a private room. Food was really good and enjoyed by everyone. An additional feature enjoyed by some of... More

Decided to have a relaxing evening listening to vinyl at the hotel. The stay was very enjoyable. Staff friendly, food was excellent. Room was large, comfortable with a great view. No.5. We will definitely return.

Nice friendly hotel with lovely large bedroom and bathroom with old fashioned furniture and a comfortable bed ensure a good nights sleep. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and the choice was good and the food was Excellent and very reasonably priced and more than ample portions - definitely fill you up if you had been hiking all day... Location is superb, right in the middle of Malvern central. Good large car park. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable and warm. Great views from the rooms at the front. Price was very reasonable on a late-season stay through booking.com. However, the whole place has seen better days and is just generally rather tired and shabby in a Fawlty Towers... More

Had a Sunday dinner here. Thought we'd try it as we were passing. There was a distinct lack of staff- just the barman juggling everything. There were just 2 other people eating at the time - just as well! Ordered the roast beef Sunday dinner which took a bit of time. The plates came out with the meat/Yorkshire pud &... More

Booked last minute and secured a double de-luxe suite. It was anything but de-luxe. Room was large and clean but verging on cold as heating did not come on. Complimentary tray had one pack of biscuits and 4 non brand tea bags. Towels were paper thin. Breakfast was awful. Pears and bananas but no knives to peel. A self-use toaster... More

We payed extra for a good room (Room 10) which was spacious, well furnished and had an enormous en suite which included a jacuzzi (but we really would prefer a walk in shower). Staff were friendly and helpful but there were disappointments. The breakfast was very ordinary, no muesli for example and the toaster didn't work properly. The cooked breakfast... More

Hugely disappointed we have just returned from a stay in this hotel. and although the view was beautiful, the bed and breakfast were appalling. The beds creaked continuously as we moved and the pillows were lumpen so sleep was impossible. There was mould behind the bath in the grout, the curtain too thin to eliminate the light, sleep was impossible... More

beautiful location and fantastic views but no front of house welcome staff need training in customer services and relationships and the reception area should be manned at all times. the staff were frosty and uncaring i almost walked out. they tried to ask me for a 50 pound deposit in case i did a runner or pinched anything. the room...
