Although the B&B sign is still up, there's a boarded-up window and no sign of life. Another casualty of the "war against pubs".

We were charged £150 for 2 rooms! Two of us had to share a single bed and some of us were charged to sleep on the floor. When we opened up the camp bed there was a pair of soiled underwear that had gone hard, a pink feather and a dirty sock inside it! I took the pants in a... More

Set right next to River Avon opposite the towns park. Has own Car Park and gardens. You might think it is just geared for locals but warm friendly reception. Good homecooked food and value for money accommodation. Had to take the dog on this trip and one of the few places that really was pleased to accommodate pets.

We were booked for 2 rooms but the trip didn't work out as planned. Initial booking process was OK but confirmation never arrived. We followed up 3 days before arrival and all was apparently OK. When we arrived we were told there was a problem with our rooms, water damage apparently, and therefore they couldn't put us up. In fairness... More

Tourists may find that this is not a pub with cheery spacious rooms in which to base themselves whilst 'doing the Cotswolds'. This is a pub with rooms to fall unconscious in after a serious night's drinking downstairs. The single (non-suite) room I ended up in was spartan, had dark green walls, and smelled. Thoughtfully, an air freshener had been... More

The pub looks a little tired from the outside, but I can honestly say, in staying there I made the best choice. A fishing party were staying (easy access to the river) and once the fish were caught, they partied at the Inn for most of the night! The staff were kind, friendly and only too happy to remain on...
