Boy what a find if you like good beer! and - much to my surprise - the pub specialises in gins and had some lovely ones, new brands I'd never seen before which were delicious. And a proper, caring landlord and lovely staff. Well well well.....not what we expected in such a tourist hot spot. We didnt stay , so... More

I love this gem of a pub and it is one of our main reasons for staying in Broadway. The food is homemade , excellent quality and value for money. The staff outstanding and the resident cat makes the visit complete. Highly recommend.

Let`s get my small gripe out of the way first, gaming machine tucked away in corner of pub should be banished to the nearest skip in the village, my personel opinion. Now whats good about this pub! Ate there for Sunday lunch and later in the week as my wife and i were staying in the Cotswolds for a weeks... More

My wife and I were searching for somewhere to have a drink having discovered that the hotel we were staying at only had a miserable excuse for a bar. We had one drink at The Crown and Trumpet Inn and one drink at the Swan. The Crown and Trumpet is a real old pub. There had been no designer makeover... More

Now here's a good Old English pub, where the landlord can juggle three orders at once in a busy bar and still acknowledge those waiting, so that you know "your next"; as soon as you walk in, you know you are welcome. It also has good food, quick & efficiently served with a cheery smile, not to mention the beer,... More

Stayed at The Crown and Trumpet for one night over my birthday weekend. We both really enjoyed - couldn't have been happier with the friendly atmosphere, comfy bed and wonderful breakfast! Would recommend and look forward to staying there again. Have also stayed at The Lygon Arms and Russells of Broadway but this is where we felt most comfortable.

This is our second stay at The Crown and Trumpet and on both occasions we were made to feel very welcome by Andy the owner. The inn has a very old fashioned feel as England used to be! We particularly liked the coal fire and the great atmosphere especially the live music on Saturday evening with Paul Anthony. We had... More

After staying at this wonderful English Inn for one night in November, which included a Jazz Band, we were so impressed that my husband and I decided to book for 3 nights over Christmas. We arrived to be greeted by Andrew, the owner, a roaring fire and a welcoming glass of mulled wine. Our room and bathroom were perfect, large... More

We were staying in one of the cottages owned by the pub so we took the opportunity to have our christmas day meal here too. The staff were lovely throughout and made us feel welcome as well as festive. Obviously the kitchen was busy but everything came out steaming. There were 5 courses and all of them were very hearty,... More
