Having 'found' the Crown & Trumpet in July 2014 we had no hesitation in booking it again when we once again planned to meet up with old friends in the Cotswolds. As Broadway lies on the Cotswold Way we were able to exercise in the afternoon, leaving the car in the (small) pub car park. We found all the staff... More

Excellent evening meal, we had the pie and pudding deal and it was delicious, tried to go back the next night but were waylaid. Will go back again on our next visit to broadway, would definitely recommend a visit, if you want a traditional English pub.

We've just spent two nights in Broadway and on this occasion we stayed at the Crown and Trumpet for the first time. We were very pleased with our choice, the room was really nice and very comfortable. The en-suite is quite small and perhaps the shower could be better but overall we felt that we got fantastic value for money.... More

A very friendly place and the staff very welcoming. In room 6 for 2 nights which is a double with shower room at the back and over the kitchen. Decor fine, but the bed height could be a problem at 30" if you've short legs as it is a climb to get in. Could do with more attention to cleaning... More

We are just back from a break here. The place itself is lovely and quaint and Broadway was beautiful. Our room was small but comfortable and everything worked. We were, after all, in a very old inn in the Cotswolds and enjoyed that it was not a modern ugly hotel. This is a place used by lots of locals and... More

I am writing this as I lie in bed unable to sleep because the noise in this place is so bad. So, why wouldn't I stay here again... 1) my room is at the front, above the pub garden. The noise is so loud the drinkers may as well be in my room. It's 12.30am now and it's showing no... More

We decided to visit the cotswolds for a romantic break over the bank holiday weekend, early May this year, and after much investigation (mainly through trip advisor!) decided to stay at the Crown & Trumpet. We were not disappointed! This is a wonderful traditional English pub that has not lost any of it's charm and character. The beer and cider... More

My wife and I have been returning annually to Broadway for many years and always visit the Crown & Trumpet. The food and hospitality and beer has always been second to none. Definitely the best pub in Broadway and in our opinion we have never found a better one in the UK. Already looking forward to our next visit.

What a ridiculous farce. I sent my dinner back as the meat was too tough to get a knife through. I was polite, & explained to the waitress why I felt it was inedible. She took it without a word, then carried on serving others . After a while I said excuse me - what's happening , & was told... More

I had to intervene when I noticed that one of the girls was very upset. It was because you were so rude to her that she had to go outside for a while to compose herself before being able to carry on. You must have felt very gratified that as you say in your review that you made her cry... More

Wanted a quaint Cotsworld Pub and that's what we got. Great hospitality and the bed, albeit very high off the ground, was extremely comfortable. The room a decent size. It was located at the front over the bar so on a hot summer's evening it could get noisy I guess. The bathroom was tiny, but a good shower, washbasin and... More
