We stayed here for two nights in mid August: this was our second time to Broadway and we would not recommend this place. The bedroom was musty and DIRTY: there were dead flies on the carpet and yellow stains on the towels. The rooms are very outdated: the shower kept stopping mid way and there is little or no insulation... More

What a shame that you just did not like us. The rooms are furnished using actual period furniture. All the light fittings are Arts and Crafts. As our brass or wooden beds are period they can all have two mattresses a base as well as the normal one. All our bedspreads are also made for us. Have checked the shower... More

Unspoilt village pub great atmosphere with loads of choice different ales. Three of us had a meal which to be honest was average. Pie, chips and vegetables. The menu was not extensive but adequate. There was a bit of a mix up when our food was served but it was soon sorted. We all had a pudding which was very... More

Thank you David an we are so pleased that you so much liked our Inn. It is just what we want to achieve by being different from the chains. Our food are homemade tradition dishes and puddings at not at an expensive price which as you noted makes us very busy. Looking forward to welcoming you again. More

I stayed at this wonderful Cotswold inn on and off for the last 7 months, The owner Andrew met me on my first stay and showed me to my lovely room which was well furnished with good quality furnishings. As I became a regular visitor he used to save the same room for me so that every visit I felt... More

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We do put into the rooms period pieces that most people enjoy. (We do get some that just don't appreciate what we are trying to achieve) We want to be a friendly welcoming Inn providing inexpensive home cooked dishes. I am very lucky to have such a good team and we all... More

After walking the 6m first leg of the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Broadway why not stop off at the Crown & Trumpet in Broadway. The real ales beers (Ilkley Black and Butcombe original) were very good. We stayed for a meal as well. My advice is to stick to the meat dishes and give the fish dishes a... More

Glad that you enjoyed your visit to the Inn. We do make all of the dishes our selves and when you were checked, should have mentioned it and we could have gladly given you some more sauce with the Fish Pie so that you would have completely enjoyed it in our friendly and welcoming atmosphere. More

I have been visiting this Pub on and off for the last eighteen years so decided to book three night's there. We arrived early afternoon and were shown to our room by one of the friendly staff. I believe no room is the same and each has it's own character. The bed and wardrobe looked like it was from a... More

It is all ways been our pleasure to welcome you both back yet again. We are doing just as you observed putting period furniture and fittings that most people comment on as a welcome change from the chains that all look the same. You are correct they are from a bygone era but that is what adds to the character... More

I know people who swear by this place - but not at it - but until recently I'd not been there myself. Just yards off the High Street, this pub has managed too remain unspoilt by the mass tourism that Broadway depends on, and is all the better for it. I visited on a Fridayevening, and the place was very... More

Were meeting some friends who suggested Broadway so we searched 'Broadway Inns' and came up with the Crown & Trumpet - we were not disappointed! The room was clean, with tea & coffee making facilities, the food was delicious and the beer delightful! The staff were all friendly and courteous and the 'full English' set us up for the journey... Just returned from my fourth stay T The Crown & Trumpet Broadway.
