When we arrived we were blown away. The 700 year old building is absolutely stunning, as are the grounds. Richard greeted us and was very pleasant, giving us a tour and advising complimentary tea and cake and also sherry etc in the large hall-come-lounge. All were excellent. Our room looked fantastic with a four poster bed and the furnishings were... More

The house is fairly hard to find, being down a lane with no signage, but once you enter through the gates you are transported back in time. The hotel only has four rooms so there is absolute peace. The property includes acres of landscaped garden and lawn with seating scattered around the grounds. The family is very welcoming and unobtrusive... More

We stayed here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. This is a unique property and and as others have said the Great Hall is magnificent . A very relaxing place where you are made to feel at home. A perfect stay in a beautiful region of the UK. Our thanks to Stacey as well for the great breakfasts.

We had read reviews before booking and we were not disappointed. From being greeted upon arrival to a relaxing tea in the beautiful Great hall to the delicious, generous breakfasts they serve, it is a unique experience. Topsey', Richard and Stacey make you feel at home and are so helpful with suggestions for booking dinners and recommending local points of... More

This is a wonderful B&B. Everything about it is just perfect! The location is idyllic in one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. The B&B itself is so beautiful and so well run that you feel at home and at ease straight away. Such a lovely place to relax, or visit the surrounding locations, or enjoy a beautiful afternoon... This was our first visit here, and I say first, as we intend to stay here again. Even though we were not lucky with the weather, this didn't take away from both the lovely building or grounds. Our room, which was situated next to the British flag at the front of the building was lovely. Very homely, very large and... More

No reviews less than very good speaks for itself. This is a unique experience. It's not cheap but you get value for money. If you like an atmosphere with centuries of history in an impressive setting with modern conveniences done with class and panache, you'll enjoy this. Good places to eat and drink in the village and some good walks... More

I guess the many positive reviews of Abbot's Grange on here speak for themselves so it would be superfluous to bang on but a few words won't hurt! Beautiful place and setting. Greeted by the charming and pulchritudinous Stacey and served a wow afternoon tea of exceptional quality in the stunning Hall. It was, simply, the nicest possible way to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lea of Broadway hill and standing in a little over eight acres of parkland grounds and gardens you will find the romantic Cotswold hideaway, Abbots Grange. Secluded, yet only 2 minutes walk from Broadway's 'picture perfect' village high street with its delightful array of independent boutique shops, restaurants and inns. This magical, award winning monastic manor has all the comforts you would expect from an AA five GOLD star 'highly commended' guest house. Bedrooms are equipped to a high standard with four poster beds, flat screen TVs and seating areas. Beds are dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton sheets to ensure a blissful nights sleep. Thick, fluffy white towels, bath robes and complimentary toiletries complete the en-suite bathrooms. The oldest dwelling in Broadway, Abbots Grange was built in about 1320 as the summer manor for the Abbot of Pershore. There are over 700 years of history to absorb here, perhaps while you unwind in front of the roaring log fire over afternoon tea... or by candlelight after dinner? Breakfast at Abbots Grange is a celebration of all things local. Served in the paneled dining room at the round table, you will find a mouth watering selection of fresh berries and seasonal fruits. Local sausages and smoked bacon together with Cotswold free range eggs. We offer a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast alternative, artisan baked breads and pastries from our own bakery - Huffkins - together with freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffees and loose leaf teas. ... more   less
