Lovely hotel over looks the Thames, we stayed in room 5 which didn't have a river view but was quiet. Large bathroom, tea & coffee facilities, but would have liked a fridge and a safe. Air con was brilliant as it was a very hot day, although controls looked a bit worn out. We had a very good deal by... More

This was my first experience of this particular hotel......first impressions were really good however upon check-in my expectations were exceeded. The staff are lovely....polite, courteous and helpful. My bags carried to my room.....a suite (totally unexpected). My stay was for business reasons and I worked away from Windsor during the day but to come back to the hotel and sit... More

My colleague and I stayed at the hotel for a business trip. From day 1 of the visit the staff couldn't be more genuinely helpful. This set the tone for the whole visit. In a nutshell I can't see there being a better hotel in Windsor for the money paid. Some of the high points were the quality of the... More

This felt very much still like a large private residence. The main hall where reception is and the staircase and squeaky floorboards add to the feeling. Really loved the way they have done this hotel. It manages to be so grand yet still be comfortable to live in. Stayed for a weekend visiting family to get away from the crazy... More

Wonderful hotel for a weekend stay. Lovely staff and service. We stayed in the annex building across the road from the main hotel. Room was spacious and immaculate. Great location. Only downside, no parking.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and this was my fourth time of visiting. I had booked this quite a few months in advance and made it very clear that this was an anniversary get away and that I would like our stay to be a good one. Well here goes: On arrival our room wasn't ready... More

Have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions during the last 15 months. I am continually impressed by the staff and the management's willingness to treat guests as individuals, recognizing their room/ dining /privacy wishes. The restaurant is an excellent example, a head chef a young dynamic team who strive to improve on an already high standard. It does... More

The location of the hotel was great and the rooms were really clean. However, we were disappointed by the staff at the reception, who were quite arrogant and unhelpful, and the poorly made breakfast. The view from the restaurant on the riverside makes you forget anything bad though :)

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We had booked the Executive Room with Double Bed. The room was admittedly really spacious and equipped with facilities. Having said that, the double bed was semi-double really and not so comfortable. Also, the bathroom was very clean, but the shower head was old-fashioned: rigid on the wall with no flexibility. When... More

This hotel has a superb location as it is truly walking distance from the Windsor Palace, French brothers cruise boats, Duck tours starting point and the Royal Windsor Market. The hotel itself was a building once owned by Sir Christopher Wren, but it wasn't a house that he himself ever lived in. So, if you are expecting beautiful architecture you... More
