Great selection of ales apparently delivered by horse drawn wagon. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, clean and well appointed. Great value for money being so close to Windsor Town Centre and a short stroll to the River Thames.

I phoned the swan to book a room a polite young man answered the phone and answered all the question I asked in a professional manner and sold it to me by explaining what they have to offer and the rates of the room where spot on not to cheap not to expensive. On my arrival the manager indroduced I'm... More

This Pub/B&B has just been taken over and is under new management and is an excellent place to stay. I was fortunate to,stay in one of the new luxury refurbished bedrooms and could not fault it. Lovely atmosphere and good local ales and well stocked bar. Mixture of age groups and a friendly atmosphere. Lovely little place just on the... More

This is the fourth review that I have try'd to publish about this dump but for some "unknown"reason it hasn't been placed on Trip Advisor. We booked this place three months in advance to go to The races on arrival we were told they won't honour the booking as the landlords mates are staying for the football and was offered a... After living in the vicinity for nearly a decade, I had previously had the misfortune to visit this establishment under its previous landlord & lady. Roll on 2014 and the village has been blessed with new owner/managers who by all accounts are moving The Swan forward to bigger and better things. The welcome is warm & genuine, the cider is... Having travelled the world from corner to corner I was keen to return home and find a local pub. Disappointed by what Windsor has to offer, I stumbled by mistake on "The Swan" in Clewer Village just outside Windsor. If you crave for a true "village pub" and a warmth that comes from true commitment to all those who are... More

I chose to stay here rather than a large inpersonal hotel just to be with true local people in a true English location rather than a hundred other business travellers just wanting to pass the night wherever. The swan is just so English, a wood burning fire, armchairs and newspapers just begging you to relax with a pint and spend... More

The staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude. There is one bathroom for four rooms, and someone got it dirty in the middle of the night. No offer of breakfast. I could feel the springs poking my back through the mattress. I wished I had taken an earlier flight home. It was a sad end to a wonderful trip to England.

Arrived early evening and shown a nice twin room upstairs and offered breakfast the next morning. Room was very clean and comfortable and very reasonable price too. Toilet and bathroom separate and shared facilities the only minor drawback.Good place for overnight stop over.
