Stayed for 1 night, we were greeted with a smile at reception. We had a lovely room with a view of the castle. Had to pay for parking but it was well worth it. Walking distance to the shops which i liked. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening, it was superb and the service was very... more

From the moment I arrived at the Mercure Castle hotel I felt “looked after”. Those who know Windsor will know how difficult it is to park anywhere near the castle. Here the hotel parking attendant directed me to the secure car park. Booking in was simple and fast. The facilities for business were as you would expect. Even though there... more

Stayed in this hotel mainly for the location, which is great, right across form the Castle which was the purpose for the vist for a weekend break. I booked the hotel and paid for using my Clucard vouchers as I think if I had paid money I would have been dissappointed. The room was as exprected with all the usuals,... more

I was attracted to this hotel due to its location, and I wasn't disappointed, it is very close to the town centre and the castle. There is car parking, which is charged as I would expect in a town cetnre location. When we first arrived we thought there was no way they could find room for our car as it... more

Booked in the night before the wedding.....................got a great deal at £90 for a twin with good breakfast at a great spot just opposite the Guild Hall. Rooms had aircon all the bits & bobs you need and fitted the bill......................not at all bad for Windsor! Staff were friendly and english was their first language..............would happily recommend this place! more

Greeted by a really nice lady in reception who gave us keys for our room which was situated in an annexe in the car park, the room was tiny and the window looked straight out onto a wall only a few feet from the window. I returned to reception and asked if it would be possible to pay for an... more

Castle Hotel is a great location across from the Castle. Was here on Business. The rooms are ok but not that quiet. The standard rooms are also small. Woke up every morning early by Pigeons nesting outside Breakfast was ok but over priced and no better then a Travel Inn.There is a car park which again you get charged for. Would proberly... more

The hotel is directly across from Windsor Castle. The location is perfect for seeing the local highlights (Windsor Castle, Eton College, etc.). We arrived at the Mercure Castle Windsor in the early evening. Parking is in the rear and is tight, to say the least (typical, though in this part of the world). The parking booth was unmanned, so we... more

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Windor and is only a short walk away from Windor Castle and the main shopping street's. The rooms themselves are pretty standard but overall they are nice / clean / comfortable -the one complaint about the room I have ,is that the television reception was poor throughout our 4 night stay... more

Just returned from a 3 night break in Windsor and stayed at The Castle Hotel in a feature Double with a 4 poster bed! The Hotel is very well situated, right in the heart of Windsor, opposite the Guildhall (Where Elton John and David Furnish had their civil ceremony as well as where Prince Charles and Camilla married!) The reception... more
