This B&B was selected by our travel guide, as they have used them on many other occasions for many other clients. We read all the reviews, and had high hopes for this supposed 4 star lodge. It was not anything like we read. First let me start by saying that we had made our reservation over four months in advance,... More

This is by far the best b & b we have ever experienced. The welcome was very warm and efficient. Our room was absolutely top class from the beautiful bed linen right down to the extra thought given to the toiletries provided.I particularly liked the informative hotel pack, it helped us plan our stay in Windsor. The location and FREE off... We spent two nights at Frances Lodge in May. There was a very friendly welcome, even though we arrived two hours earlier than planned. A friend accompanying us was pleased with her single room (room 2) on the ground floor, but we were more than disappointed to be given room 6 which is tiny and not what we expect a... More

Wow. Absolutely blown away. Everything about the experience was faultless. From decor to the rooms to the facilities and service. Keep up the fantastic work guys. Definitely trend setters. All B&Bs should emulate the example set by you guys. Can't believe when you'll told me about people complaining on here about frances lodge. Brilliant and perfect all round=)

Stayed for two nights on a wet weekend in Windsor and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Frances Lodge. We had a special requirement of inter-connecting rooms as we travelled with my two young daughters and wanted a room for them with us next door. Frances Lodge has two such rooms and we took rooms 6&7 which gave us a lockable... More

Stayed for just one night with another party of two - the booking process very pleasant, everyone I spoke to was very friendly. The rooms were very small which I didn't expect, and too be honest, it would have been better had we had more room to walk around in our room. Breakfast is made to order from a very... More

Modern and clean. It has recently been renovated and the staff which are all members of one family are very friendly. Very near to Windsor Castle and I can recommend it for pleasure or business stays. A variety on the breakfast menu for everyones taste. Selection of coffees to choose from to put into cafetiers. I would return.

The group I visited Windsor with in October, certainly fell on our feet, when we stayed at Frances Lodge. The staff were second to none, really helpful, polite and friendly, obviously taking a pride in their work and enjoying it at the same time.
