Our ladies group stayed with these lovely people the last week in May. Dr. Sandy found it for our visit to Highclere Castle, and multiple tours of Windsor. I could have stayed there forever. Fabulous food, Fun, sweet and smart hostess Doreen. I will return whenever possible. I won't say which room, cause I don't want anyone else to keep... More

Having just spent a couple of days visiting Windsor, just like to say a big thank you to Doreen and Robert for making our stay such an enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Doreen and D'Arcy the very friendly family dog, until our departure yesterday, nothing was too much trouble. Our room (No.1 ) was... More

Easy to find,we were greeted by the owners adorable Dog,Mr Darcy. The welcome continued inside with meeting Robert, who showed us to Bedroom 3 which had a marvellous view onto the Grounds and a balcony that we could sit out on.the Bed was comfy and the Shower really hot and powerful.Tea/Coffee making facilities were most welcome. The property is spotlessly clean and... We used the large family room which has its own kettle, TV and super large bathroom. Greeted on arrival by Mr Darcy the dog, he is adorable. Doreen cooks the most fantastic full English breakfast with choice of brown/white toast. Doreen is a wonderful hostess and we always book our room with her when visiting the area.

I have just returned from a family stay at Rainworth. The house and grounds are stunning. Doreen the host couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. We had rooms 5 and 6 which were located at the top of the house. Our parents who are elderly didn't find the stairs difficult, and thought the room was just perfect. My... More

Another lovely stay whilst visiting family. On the top floor this time in a room with a four poster bed and two singles. A good breakfast in a lovely house. Typically English, certainly not minimalist!! Nothing to complain about.

We spent one night at Rainworth House before going to Heathrow for our return flight the following day. Doreen, the owner, is a lovely friendly woman who is so happy to help with directions, restaurant reservations, or anything else. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. She loves being an innkeeper, and it shows.

I stayed with family during summer half term at Rainworth House and had a lovely time. Good food, comfortable rooms and quiet relaxing atmosphere and spacious grounds . I would certainly recommend staying there

What a little gem we got when we found Rainworth! Our host and hostess went out of their way to accommodate us and we found our rooms to be "home" away from home! Starting the day with an awesome breakfast (better than most 5 star hotels) we could enjoy our day exploring and seeing family! We just loved this English... More

We stayed at Rainworth in October 2014 for one night in the family room. We stayed here after arriving on a morning flight into Heathrow. Rainworth is close enough that you do not have to drive very far from the airport. It was a great alternative to the busier and pricier options closer to Windsor Castle. The Castle is a... More
