Stayed here for a week, Sun- Fri. It wasn't the swishest or most up to date hotel but it was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent. The food was just ok but there was plenty of it, I would happily book in here again in this area.

Stayed there one night. It is convenient for local attractions as well as close to town centre. The room (double) was smallish, but had everything required. While overall clean, I think, rooms need a bit of “refreshment”. Breakfast standard. Overall, if I need to stay in the area again, I would probably book it again, as it is pleasing enough... More

I booked an executive room for 6 nights the room was very spacious, clean, a good sized bathroom, big fluffy towels greatly appreciated, a big wardrobe. I like quirky quaint hotels much more character than brand formula hotels. Inclusive breakfast was buffet style with everything you could want. Only down side the dinner service the first night was slow waited... More

The hotel is in a large old house that has been partially updated. It has some nice sitting/ common areas, a bar and restaurant. It is little mid-century run down, but does what is is supposed to do - provide reasonable accommodations for a reasonable price

It was late in the day, we hadn't pre-booked - as usual. We saw the sign for the Elva Lodge Hotel and my aunt sent me out to see if there was a vacancy while she went waited. It looked a little spooky since it was dark and rainy. The young lady at reception was very helpful. The room was... More

I had my wedding at the elva lodge hotel last year and I have been to many weddings but none compare! The building had it all, room for the wedding breakfast, a place to dance, an area for elderly guests to have a comfy chair and a bar for the drinkers! The food was amazing value! We had the roast... The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and offered many choices. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. However, the water pressure was very low on the top floor and not always hot. Several lights needed replacement. They do allow well-behaved dogs, which was our primary concern on this trip.

I stayed here on business a couple of weeks ago for two nights. Firstly, I must say, all of the staff I had interaction with were excellent with customer service and can't be faulted from the check in, to breakfast and the bar, they all work hard to deliver a good experience for residents. The Hotel though, just seems tired... More
