Our favorite place to dine when traveling through UK. Cant wait to go back next week when we have a layover at Heathrow. What a wonderful meal we both had. more

For not very much money you get great service, spotless rooms and a great breakfast. It may not be the most glamorous hotel and yes it is dated but you get what you pay for. Don't book it if you want a romantic evening away but perfect as a spot to lay your head after an evening out on the... more

First of all, the staff at this hotel are great....... The problem is Its just like going back in time, the hotel could be used on the set of " life on mars" That said the food was good they provided everything for a sales meeting, and it was a third of the price of the Burnham Beaches. cannot wait... more

I stayed in a double room with my partner on the Friday and Saturday night of the Easter weekend at a total cost of £110. Considering the location of the hotel and time of year this represented excellent value for money; a hotel of this standard would usually cost in excess of £100 per night. We arrived at the hotel... more

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night (had a party to go to in Maidenhead) so literally wanted somewhere just to get my head down for the evening. I had the tiniest of rooms - but it was fine! Considering how much I paid (£40) and length of stay it was OK - the main thing was it was... more

I think some of the other reviews of this hotel are a little unfair. I also stayed in one of the small single and it was fine. My friend was staying in the smaller of the two with the sloping ceiling but you do get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable, the pillows great and it was really... more

I stayed in an Executive Room with balcony - what was executive about it I don't know. Very dated - almost could have been 1950's - and the balcony could do with re-painting. However, that said, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, staff helpful, breakfast plentiful, buffet style ,but don't think the hot trays were working too well... more

When I booked, the hotel told me that they only had a "small" single available. And small it certainly was. Probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in. Really, really tiny. What they didn't tell me when I booked was that it was so small that you couldn't even sit up in bed (because of the sloping ceiling). I did... more

Where do I start with this place, its a very jaded 3 star nothing a few hundred thousand couldnt fix. We had been promised a river view but this was denied on our arrival. Duty manager Olivia was apologetic and offered to telephone another hotel for us to try and obtain a river view!! A bit Fawltyesque I felt.... The... more

My wife and I booked a weekend break with the hotel at very reasonable cost. Our room was clean and comfortable with TV and radio and overlooked the river and its ceaseless traffic of small boats of all kinds. The room also overlooked the busy riverside drive which might be too noisy for some but we found it quite tolerable;... more
