My wife and I traveled from Canada for our 25th wedding Anniversary I was born in maidenhead and was good to return to the area. We were met by Michelle as Caroline was on her own vacation. Michelle did a great job through the week and always had time to chat. The stay was excellent, my only complaint was the... More

Our family stayed in cottages 2 and 5 and we were delighted with both of them. They were clean and well equipped and had oodles of lovely hot water for baths and showers. The garden was the perfect place for our two young grandsons to play safely, the zip wire and pool were fantastic. Perfect location to take our grandchildren... More

My wife and I stayed for three months in Southlands Cottage. It was just like our second home. Lovely cottage and gardens on the High Street of a lovely English Village - Cookham Village. WOW what a perfect vacation. We met many friendly people and felt like villagers. We walked practically every footpath around Cookham, along the Thames and up... More

Nice location on the outskirts of Maidenhead, with a friendly welcome from the owners who were happy for us to explore the lovely grounds. Swallows, Red Kites, Buzzards and Woodpeckers were plentiful as were Dragonflies and Damsels in the garden pond. Accommodation is pleasant, clean and perfectly comfortable whilst still being reasonable value for somewhere with easy access to London... More

We had a great stay at Sheephouse Manor. Everything in the cabin was new. It was a really nice place to come back to after hectic sightseeing and activities... Very pastoral, well laid out, well equipped and very nice owners.

My wife and daughter and I stayed in cottage 2 overnight while on business in Maidenhead, and really wished it could have been longer. Sheephouse Manor is situated in the lovely Riverside area of Maidenhead, and is a short walk from both the River Thames and the town centre. The cottages are located in beautiful, well-kept and spacious grounds, adjacent... More

We stayed in cottage 5, which was bijou and quaint. Very comfortably decorated and spotlessly clean. We had bed and breakfast arrangement, which is unusual for the cottages, and this was briefly forgotten about on the first day. But that was no matter, as this was swiftly dealt with and we were kindly greeted with a basket full of breakfast... More

Stayed in one of the cottages, had everything we needed and more besides. Very clean and comfortable, and a real home from home. Gardens are lovely, very relaxing and the owners were extremely helpful, with any info we needed. In a great setting, close to the Thames with beautiful walks very nearby. Our 2nd stay and will definitely be back,... More

We have had a wonderful time at Sheephouse Manor. Stayed in cottage 5, which has a separate little garden with views over the larger garden and fields. The cottage is completely renovated and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Especially nice is the warm welcome one receives with the lovely hamper. And it feels more like a hotel than a... My family of 11 enjoyed our stay in three of the Sheephouse Manor cottages. Cottage 2 had the dining table, couch and chairs so it was our central gathering place. Other couples stayed in cottages 4 and 5 which had bigger bedrooms and nice open kitchens. We were fortunate to have several sunny days, so we enjoyed meeting at the... More

Thank you for your review, and I am glad that we could offer a base for your family reunion. Luckily the weather was kind and you could enjoy the gardens and seating and picnic areas around the BBQ.
