For the cost of the rooms it was totally not worth it, we could have stayed in central london for the same price. 1) The rooms were small -- a single occupancy is actually a single bed and not enough room to swing a cat. 2) Hot -- the rooms were uncomfortably hot, the only air-con was a desk fan... My partner and I chose this hotel for its nice surroundings and good reviews on here. However we were extremley dissapointed. We wasn't in the room a greal deal as it was somewhere to stay between two busy days, but we still managed to find multiple faults with our room: Cobwebs everywhere, ripped duvet cover, television only got 3 channels,... We stayed here for one night over the weekend to attend a wedding blessing in the area and it was where the rest of the party were staying so i wouldn't say i chose it as a destination. On the face of it the hotel looks pretty good and the location is lovely as it's sat right on the river... More

Great location but watch the morning traffic - it is pretty heavy with both routes to the M4 slow going. Hotel was easy to find and on balance I was best pleased. Some of the reviews were a bit rough and probably for good reason because the nicest rooms overlook the Thames so it may be worth booking direct to... More

This hotel was ideally placed for Bray (Wateside / Fat Duck / Hinds Head) which is what we wanted. The building is quite old - the stairs creak and you can hear people walking about in the room above you. Some of the public areas are tired and dated but generally it seemed clean enough. Unfortunately I was servied a... More

We needed somewhere near to the Hinds Head in Bray (see my review). Staff are young, mainly foreign nationals but work hard and are very pleasant. Rooms (choose at the back) are modern, compact but contain all you need - including full size ironing board, firm mattress, large TV, tea/coffee facilities. This is quite an old property so there is... More

We stayed here for one night as we were heading into London for my hubby's 30th birthday. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the Thames & the room we had (104) was decorated very nicely with a great bed & lots of space. Overall a nice stay but a few negatives... When we arrived the car park was... More

Great positioned hotel directly on the river, with ample parking. Very friendly staff and lovely clean hotel. Breakfast was reasonably priced. We went as a couple but I can imagine the surrounding area would be good for a family holiday.

We've stayed here three times now - purely for convenience and a view of the river. But the service, particularly in the restaurant, lets it down every time. As said in another review the stairs to the room are hard work, especially if coming up from the basement restaurant and the windows are filthy. Food in the restaurant is mediocre... More

Stayed here as part of our walking of the Thames Path and having walked past it earlier in the day we though it looked in need of a bit of TLC. Once in though everything was good, apart from a bit of a maze of stairs to our room. The bar seemed very busy when we arrived but we had... More
