Stayed one night in connection with work. Owner very helpful in giving info about local restaurants etc. Comfortable room with small en suite, and with ceiling fan which was very handy on a hot summer's night. Good breakfast, and within walking distance of town and railway station. Would stay again!

Large, comfortable family room. Breakfast wasn't the best though and although room booked for 4 people the owner had only catered for 3 of us (not sure why they thought my 2 1/2 year old wouldn't want breakfast). Thankfully there was enough toast to go around.

Basic guest house, but backed with personal friendly service. Situated close to the town centre, ideal for access to bars, restaurants and entertainments. The room was clean and the bed comforatble and I enjoyed the cooked breakfast. However the downside was that the room was not ensuite, but I knew that before I booked.

I atayws here for 3 nights on 2 separate occasions in October. The room was basic but clean and had tv and tea and coffee making facilities. En suite looked a bit home done but plenty of room and shower was good. I did not find it noisy and room was ground floor . There was a choice of breakfast... More

I booked the economy room for two nights. It's a great little room with two windows, and the beauty of this room is that it's round the back and not on the main road. Okay it's not en suite and you have to go down one floor for the bathroom. There are two rooms, one with a bath and one with... More

Room was very small with no toilet. Quite a loud location, didn't sleep very well. Very rude owner, did not receive a warm welcome, made me feel like a naughty child for arriving late even though I had pre-warned him. Will not be returning.

Spent two nights in a twin bedroom. Well furnished. No air con, but there was a very quiet fan which caused sufficient movement of air. The room was at the front of the establishment so with the windows open the moderate amount of traffic well into the night could be a problem. I was sufficiently late enough so the traffic... More

Clifton Guest House had a cheap room well located in Maidenhead. The breakfast (especially the coffee) was unfortunately really bad, I took one the first day and avoided it the next morning. I was there during spring time and the room was quite cold, even with heating. It is probably freezing there during winter time. The room was clean but... More

Arrived mid afternoon and the check in was easy and was able to anytime after 11am which was convenient . Brilliant location parking on site with no charge is brilliant as well and the shops are easy walking distance. I had a single room and couldn't fault the the cleanliness of my room and the facilities. Breakfast is of an... More
