The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. I have stayed in hotels charging double the price but not up to this standard of cleanliness. The room was pleasant, light and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful; if they didn't know the answer to a question about the local area they were happy to look it up for me on the... More

No air con makes it very stuffy, especially in summer. If you open the window for air you'll be subjected to the sound of trains running all night and the sound of drunk people shouting, swearing and fighting outside the pub next door. If you value a good nights sleep then stay somewhere else!

We are sorry to learn you were unhappy with the temperatures in your room Georgina G. This particular hotel does not provide air conditioning however in an attempt to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay during the hotter months we do offer fans at reception, subject to availability. More

Have stayed at the Maidenhead TL many times because of its convenient location and the plus points are that the rooms are very clean and comfortable (having been fairly recently refurbished and the hotel is not that old anyway), staff friendly and the hotel is ideal for Maidenhead town centre and the railway station right opposite. Downsides are the lack... More

We stayed at this travel lodge having booked a family room for 2 nights to visit legoland, Windsor. It was ideally situated 5 miles away and reasonably priced. We were allocated a family room on the 1st floor facing the busy road junction. The noise was unbearable as the hour got later from cars on the dual carriageway outside. It... More

We decided to give Travelodge another go after hearing about the upgrades and this was the first one we tried, staying for 2 nights. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, two pillows etc The staff were without exception welcoming and helpful. We took advantage of an excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice all for £1.95 each.... More

We had room 319 towards the back of the hotel. It was clean enough but quite stuffy so we needed to keep the window open. And that meant that it was EXTREMELY noisy. So bad that neither of us slept at all well. Staff were friendly though and it's a very good location close to station and shopping centre. Breakfast... More

The best Travelodge I have stayed in so far. Excellent refurbishment and very clean. We will definitely stay here again. Great location, right opposite Maidenhead train station, perfect for our family day out in London. Sainsburys right next door for any bits that we needed.

The most comfortable bed I have ever experienced other than my own. Don't eat there, it is not nice and not cheap. Go for breakfast at Puccino and dinner at Francesco. Very close to the Station, 50 mins to London

Travelodge Maidenhead is OK, for £52/night for a family room arguably it's good value. It could however be significantly better. We stayed on a Thursday night prior to visiting Legoland Windsor (5 mins down the road!) and arrived late, the hotels doors were shut and we were buzzed in by reception which is on the first floor, the ground floor... Travel Lodge is compared to Premier Inn (fair to say). Premier Inn has better PR presence and more comfortable beds. Maidenhead staff are polite and always pleasant when I stay. Beds not too comfortable.
