I booked this as a stopover to be near Legoland with the kids. I chose it over Travelodge type places as it was cheaper and had parking. I knew from the reviews it was not going to be stellar but it was value for money. On the downside the decor was dated, the bathroom shabby, no food option, lot of... More

Previously I reviewed a place in Paignton. Which was outstanding.....the Kingswood was the antithesis of paignton. Very tired decor...badly painted...badly layed floorin bathroom...bath panel broken...toilet roll holder was dirty and mould around the shower screen. £45 for the night....no breakfast either. My recommendation.....go 10 mins down the road to Travelodge. On the upside...it was a memory foam mattress.

Well where to start Met by a nice enough member of staff who took payment and showed us to our family room (room 7) on the top floor On first impressions it looked ok, double bed and a single for our son Furniture mis-matched bedding the same The bathroom whilst large was in a poor state with broken floor tiles,... In a nutshell.. Even being so cheap it's not worth it! We stayed here as a last resort as all hotels nearby were full. We thought it can't be that bad.. We was wrong. As soon as we arrived in room I noticed stained bed sheets which the hotel changed but still the sheets had pen all on it. The... More

Stayed here for two nights due to a wedding in Burnham. On arrival the man behind reception was very helpful and throughout our stay always happy to see us and also helped making sure we didn't get ripped off by taxis. Our room No.12 on the ground floor was very clean, bedding smelled fresh and was very comfy. Hottest weekend... More

We booked in here for day two of our four day Thames walk. We booked on last, invite for a double room for £35. The price was right. The hotel is so far outside the city centre it is extremely inconvenient and must have added at least two to three miles on to our trip. We asked if we could have... More

I booked the Kingswood Hotel for one night, after booking it I read the reviews and was dreading going there due to same. I was pleasantly surprised as the Hotel was not as bad as I was expecting. Yes I agree the rooms do need a lick of paint, but the bed was comfortable with very clean linen on, the... More

This is a nice budget place to stay if you need a bed for the night. It is adequate, friendly, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but again, adequate. We got a takeaway from the adjoining Thai/Indian restaurant and didn't enjoy it at all!

Stayed for 1 night only and was very weary about staying here after reading the reviews (my boss booked it for me). The hotel room was clean and tidy but somewhat cold even though the radiator was on max all night. It does have a nice Indian restaurant down stairs. It isn't the worst place I have stayed but its... We stayed in room 2, a double room on the first floor. Initially the room seemed fine but there was a timer on the radiator heating which meant it wouldn't be switched on until later in the afternoon but the friendly man on reception helpfully provided an electric heater to use. The room itself was quite worn, I wouldn't stay... More
