We enjoyed a lovely lunch today in the main restaurant at Fredricks. It was almost up to fine dining standards and good value at 2 courses for £19 & 3 courses for £24. My starter was a smoked salmon tian which had a pretty rosette crisp made from sliced potato, and my husband had chicken liver salad. We both had... More

We recently visited Fredrick's Hotel & Spa for my cousin's 21st birthday. There was a group of around 30 of us on Friday night for dinner, and a group of 19 who stayed in the hotel for the entire weekend, including spa treatments, afternoon tea, and a private dining experience with a murder mystery. Frederick's Hotel was the ideal location... More

Friendly welcome but were seated in the corridor for our afternoon tea which was very poor indeed. Adequate selection of sandwiches but had obviously been sitting uncovered for a while as they were hard around the edges. The scones, cream and jam were lovely but we sent the cakes back as they were inedible. Despite being there for an hour... More

We organised a Xmas luncheon at Fredricks for a Thames Valley Executives Club, there were about 80 of us. The event ran like clockwork, the room dressed perfectly, the food excellent and the staff extremely attentive. Our guests were very impressed. Well done Fredricks!

We stayed here for a wedding in nearby Marlow. Although not outstanding for a 4* hotel the room was fine and service generally efficient and friendly. Breakfast was standard buffet fare but I have to say the worst scrambled eggs I've encountered in a long time! Don't know if they would have cooked eggs fresh if I'd asked - I... More

So this is the quandary of the reviewer: my perspective was the one night stay for meeting next morning having just flown from the US during the day. It is not the weekend relaxing guest which may have a totally different perspective. Very cosy lobby and wood paneled hallway to the room..spacious suite with more wood panelling and porcelain displayed... More

I took my girlfriend to Fredricks Hotel as a suprise break. Upon arrival we were told that our room had been upgraded to a suite as there was availability - which was a prefect gesture! We used the spa and pool facilities which were really relaxing and both fell asleep by the pool side Fire. The room was warm, nicely... More

We stayed here after a wedding and although did not spend too much time in the hotel we have no complaints. The bar staff were happy to keep the bar open for when we returned from the wedding and were unwinding. The room was lovely and big with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was also good with lots of choice.

We booked this through secret escapes, read the reviews on trip advisor and waited to see what sort of a weekend we would have. Well, it was just fine. The staff were great, the cooking was great. We had a lovely time. Some people have said that the bar is expensive, they need to remember they are drinking in a... More

Well, I've never stayed in Fredrick's before this year. I'm a contractor & I travel around a fair bit so when I knew my client was moving me down to Maidenhead I scouted around for some good places to stay. I knew I'd be in town from June - November. My son is called Frederick so it seemed to make... More
