We stayed one night here, can honestly say it was the worst hotel I have stayed in in the uk!! No tea/coffee making facilities, No bar in room, No hand towels, Only one robe and slippers, The restaurant and room service was so expensive, If you have children with you you can't use the pool, The bed was two singles pushed... I recently stayed here for my birthday with my boyfriend. The hotel was very accommodating, doing everything they could to please. The service was great, the rooms were lovely, the food was delicious and plenty of it. The deal included a 5 course taster menu which was fantastic and they were happy to change my boyfriends first course, for something... More

Just got back from a one night spa break which was excellent value at £129 per room including £30 towards dinner, breakfast and 30 minute massage. The good: wonderful pool which is indoor with a glass panel which lifts so that you can swim outdoor. Gorgeously warm so this was possible even though it wS raining outside. Beautiful grounds and... First visited Fredrick's about 15 years ago, and we impressed enough to book our wedding night there 5 years later. Again; great good, good service, 5stars. However, we returned for a weekend last month, and how things have changed! The worn-out, in need to paint shield over the entrance should have been a warning; but the front-desk staff were, as... We got married at Fredricks in June 2014 and we were so happy with the venue. We had previously been let down by another venue that we had booked as they decided to sell but I am so glad they did as the day and food at Fredricks was amazing. The packages they offer are reasonable com pared to the... More

Disappointed that the price did not reflect the quality at Fredrick's. Dirty towels and a broken shower head in my room. The eternal search for a member of bar staff, the lack of change, the wait for change to be found, then the even longer wait for food. Short staffed or just slow I'm not sure.

Stayed for one night, hotel served a purpose for a friends birthday. Hotel general areas were nice enough, grounds were beautifully kept and it was a clean hotel. However the rooms are in desperate need of an update and investment. Whisper grey bathroom, a shower that you barely get wet with and outdated decor from the eighties in the bedroom.... More

It has been a while since we have been so were interested in how the place shaped up. Overall, we were very pleased with our day. Many of the facilities are much as before and we found the whole day very relaxing. Very good massage and the two course meal with our day was up to the very good standards... More

We stayed here for the as part of a wedding party prior to the wedding. The bride and groom had booked several double rooms for us all and these seemed to differ vastly as did the parts of the hotel the rooms were in. We were allocated a room in the front part of the hotel upstairs above the bar... More

Having visited Fredericks Spa for an annual spa day treat since 2009, I am disappointed to post feedback that I feel standards have dropped following a recent visit for my Birthday. My relaxing day consisted of a crying baby visiting the spa, arguing receptionists for over 45 minutes next to the 'chill out' room and forgotten post treatment refreshments. Highly... More
