We arrived on Saturday to go to a theme park on the Sunday and stayed on the Sunday as well. First impressions were that this was an idyllic hotel set along a road with other large houses and the hotel competed with the best of them. The owner was very welcoming and the bar prices were very reasonable. The only... More

Frankly in the 21st century i do not expect to see little signs informing me i will be charged £10 if i bring any food or alcohol into my hotel room as a lone traveler I much prefer to eat in privacy, the room was comfortable enough, but the television unreliable, staff seemed nice enough but with the little signs... This is a small hotel with ample parking for the number of guests. The rooms are reasonably well fitted (there is even an iron and ironing board) and clean. There is a bar lounge but no lift. The continental breakfast is adequate.

This is on the outskirts of Ascot, and is in need of updating and refurbishment. Reception and check-in was fine. The room was almost colonial in feeling, with wicker type furniture, all white painted. The shower was ok but not great. I think there would be a 'warmer' feeling to the place if it wasn't covered with 'do this, don't... More

Poorly sign posted from the road as we all drove past it. When inside it's like a time machine back to the 60s/70s. My hotel room was big but needs attention in every way. My tv only had 2 working channels total. Shower was pathetic. Downstairs bar was uncomfortable. Bed needed renewing. There must be somewhere better nearby.

Stayed here for a week when I first arrived in London as was close to my work. I found it to be an old, run down building with faded carpet, aged bedding, mediocre facilities and staff that are not particularly interested their job. I was moved into an executive suite the second night as my initial room was occupied by... More

my room was very shabby with an uncomfortable bed. The place is back in the 50's Management very poor staff tried to help. Overall keep well clear. There are some travelodges in the area which are cheaper, cleaner and much better value.

Unfortunately whilst once it would have been a lovely building, it looks like the decor, fittings and beds haven't been changed since the 1970s. Breakfast room is nice and newly decorated but my room was very shabby with an uncomfortable bed. Overall, given the many housing developments I saw nearby the owners would be well advised to sell up. There... More

Writing a glowing review is quite a simple process, and although I haven't written a damning review on these pages yet, I would imagine it would be easy enough if you felt strongly enough to put the boot in. So, how to write a review of an establishment that - while being adequately comfortable and efficient - left you with... More
