this was a excellent hotel from before arrival and leaving, eveyrthing went smoothly and staf were excellent very attentive and friendly. grounds were excellent very peaceful and room was very well maintained and clean. food was superb. if anyone is planning on visiting ascot this is the hotel for you we had a fantastic stay and defintly will go back. more

This was a last minute find when the hotel we had booked in Windsor would not accept dogs due to incorrect information published on the booking website. tripadvisor reviews were very mixed proved accurate. The hotel is pleasant, the food ok rooms fairly clean & staff acceptable but nothing was especially good or very bad except for the pool which was small, dirty & cold. We stayed for 3 nights at the Royal Berkshire with our young son of 21 months. The whole experience for us was fantastic. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were very helpful and genuinely enjoyed talking and laughing with my son.
