We stayed here for one night as we we're seeing a band in Salisbury. The room, although small and in the eaves (my husband is 6ft) was spotless and comfortable, with free tea, coffee, biscuits and water, all for under £40. The reason I'm only giving this 4/5 is because the walls were paper thin. We could also hear our... More

Cheap, though £60 room only is not that cheap, small room and low ceilings so 8 or 9 bumps in the night.....bathroom immaculate though and the bed was comfy enough. We were booked for one night only and would not have wanted to be there for longer.

Room was noisy, every flush of toilets from near rooms was to be herd, beds were made lousy, windows were blinded so we couldn't look outside, we found a huge garbage container under it. Horrible noise during the night from drunk clubbing people, parking not simple. bad small in the corridors, old dirty carpets in the room, noisy ventilation system,... More

CityLodge is a budget line of hotels, and thus we knew what we were getting - bare bones service, free wifi, no breakfast. What was alright: the staff was kind, and the bathrooms were clean. What was not alright: paper-thin walls, dirty and damp carpeting, lumpy beds, and no way to ventilate (or escape in the event of a fire!).... More

On the plus side it's cheap, very central, staff are friendly, our suite was spacious, there was free wifi, and some modernising has gone on quite recently. On the minus side, there's a club directly across the road, which was very noisy on a Saturday night (I did put 'prefer quiet room on my pre-order!) but I somehow managed to... More

I stayed there for a couple of days over the summer solstice. The room was small and didn't have a great view, but it was comfortable, quiet and clean enough (I could have used a change of teaspoons). The only thing that wasn't too great was that there were no power sockets by the bedside, but only a couple about... More

We stayed here for a night before heading to the Chalke Valley History Festival. The location is very central for exploring Salisbury on foot which we really enjoyed doing - lovely place. Parking was easy with a multi-storey very close by and with no charge overnight or on Sundays. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. We had a room... More

My wife and I were here for a few days recovery after the solstice party. It was great. Excellent Service, wonderful staff. Great location. We would stay here again. The solstice was not to be missed.

We stayed here for one night after seeing Stonehenge and were really pleased with the hotel, clean, modern, comfortable and conveniently located with lots of parking nearby, Staff were friendly and helpful, fantastic value for money... Had no problems with noise at all, would recommend for short stays.
