This is a good basic, central, hotel. easy walk to most places. It is good for restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and shopping. It was very easy to get to cathedral. we also went for the christmas markets.

We have stayed here 3 times now. Good location. Multi storey car park 2 min walk away. 5 min stroll into the town Rooms clean Helpful staff...open 24hour reception We had a huge room at the front which wld probably be an issue for some as there is a nightclub across the road. You can hear the noise but i... More

Where to start? Reason for staying = only to collect a vehicle for myself and by myself so only needing and wanting to spend as little as possible. That led me to this 3* "hotel" which I'd definitely call more of a "Lodge" than a hotel as it does have... NO Facilities! NO Breakfast! Nothing!! That's a bad point, with... More

I have stayed at CityLodge several times this summer, and by request in various rooms on the ground floor. Perhaps I have been lucky but I haven't suffered from nightclub noise at all.The rooms are simple, spotless, with very comfortable beds and a good tea tray. Great value for money. Salisbury has many restaurants so the lack of food here... More

Great hotel! Beautiful rooms, helpful staff, comfortable bed and actual water pressure in the shower- pretty sure there is nothing else you can ask for! My husband and I stayed here for one night in our recent tour of England and were sad to leave! By far the best hotel we had in the UK- will come again!

This budget hotel is a short walk to wherever you'd want to go in Salisbury so in that it's fine. I had a single and it was very tiny with beams/room dorms. Mind the bath glass partition as you have to open it up right to the sink (potential breakage) to turn the taps on. No frills, no breakfast or... More

We picked Citylodge for our stay in Salisbury whilst visiting Stonehenge. It is conveniently located in the city, close to bars and restaurants. There are no parking facilities at the hotel, but a pay and display car park is just around the corner. It cost us about £15 for the weekend. The rooms were small, but clean. The bathroom was... We own a house just around the corner but needed a room this night! Anyway, the hotel is very well situated for all central Salisbury sights, including the cathedral. The biggest downside is the lack of parking although public parking isn't too far away if you know where to go and navigate Salisbury's confusing one way system of traffic. I... More

I was only there overnight as a place to sleep so can't really comment much on the hotel. The staff very helpfully allowed us to check in early for £10 extra, and the room was comfortable, decent sized and en suite. No complaints at all.

Centrally located this hotel is ideal for a short stay. However, sadly they do not offer any meals not even breakfast! The room is well appointed and meets all the necessary needs for the traveller with excellent Wifi and TV.
