I really enjoyed my stay in City Lodge. We arrived on the evening in a spontaneous trip via Salisbury to Stonehenge. Staff was great. In fact, there was just one guy at the reception and we stayed only a night, but I was impressed how helpful and professional he was. Rooms are cosy and very nice, beautifully furnished. Thank you. more

The only thing i could really find fault with if im being really picky was the size of the room we were in a room located outside the hotel which did bother me a bit as it backed onto wot looked like a delivery yard. The location is great right nr pubs n bars which we made the most of.... more

So we booked this hotel despite the bad reviews as we were traveling on a tight budget, but what a HUGE mistake that was. I urge you all to NOT STAY HERE DESPITE THE TEMPTATION OF LOW PRICE. As soon as we walked into our room, we felt dirty. The sheets had "spots", the comforter looked like it hadn't been... more

I am sorry if you did not enjoy your stay, we try our very best to ensure everyone leaves happy, we pride ourselves on the good comments people leave with us on LateRooms, Booking.com and TripAdvisor etc. I can honestly say cleanliness has not been complained about since we opened, and we are very concerned about how the room you...

An excellent place to stay for a business traveller in the centre of town, perhaps visiting the HPA in Porton. Turn up after 6pm and park right outside without paying street charges. ‘Aga’ on reception is very helpful & polite, she also recommended a restaurant (Strada) located 5 mins away (she was right about that, it’s excellent … Rissoto /... more

The hotel is well situated and a short walk to the shops and cathedral. Our room was very small and badly designed. We could only access it by going outside. It was on the ground floor and there were no blinds or net curtaining at the window, therefore on a hot sunny day I had to shut the curtains to... more

The City Lodge is a small, clean and quiet little lodge tucked along a side street in the center. The best thing about the lodge may be its location, a few easy blocks from each of the Cathedral (and close), Market Square, and the bus station – for Stonehenge buses. The continental breakfast was very good, and served in your... more

I had locked the door fortunately. I was on the top floor. It was a Wednesday and not very busy. At 5.30am someone had a very good try at getting into the room. I was half awake and getting a bit nervous. Yes - I should have rung reception but I did want to get back to sleep after a... more

The rooms were clean, charming and comfortable with TV, bathroom, and reasonably priced room service breakfast right near the heart of Salisbury not far from the train station with easy access to sights such as Stonehenge. Staff was helpful and understanding. more
