We were visiting Salisbury for a gig at the Arts Centre and only wanted one night, but given that it was a bank holiday weekend, the guest house only offered two night stays - as seems to be the norm in the city. Despite having to change our plans we enjoyed our time in Salisbury and 2 Park Lane provided... More

We recently booked a room at 2 Park Lane for a one night stay. We booked on the Sunday and were due to arrive on the Wednesday. However, on Monday evening of the week of our stay I had a phone call to tell me my brother had unexpectedly passed away. My partner called first thing Tuesday to explain and... More

I am sorry you are so upset that you feel you needed to write a review on trip advisor about our cancellation policy. But as you said yes we do have to run a business and unfortunately people so tell us all sorts of things when they cancel and we are not able to tell which cases are genuine and... More

It should not be called a guest house but rather a ' welcome home ' I was well looked after and the two rooms that I stayed in ( at separate times) are tranquil and impeccably clean. I had the full English breakfast and each time it was delicious. There is a beautiful park at the front door and a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and wanted to be on the perimeter of the city with a short leg stretch into town. Our room was clean and the facilities were just right. The bed was comfortable and the power shower was a treat. The lady who runs the place was sociable, friendly and very good at cooking a full... More

We stopped for 2 nights during the Easter weekend. Lovely welcoming staff, a clean room and a good breakfast. The room was a little small but perfectly good for 2 nights. The town and cathedral are around a 15 minute walk away, which suited us.

We stayed at 2 Park Lane for an overnight stop en route to a friend’s house in Dorset. We wanted to be within walking distance of Salisbury so we didn’t need to use the car. We originally found it difficult to find the house as our sat nav didn’t recognise Park Lane as it is a private road but once... More

This modern B&B in an Edwardian(?) house is well equipped and kept very clean. The hosts are very approachable. The city centre is easily reachable by foot through a pleasant park, which is just in front of the house, and along the river. It's easy to find, just off one of the major roads into Salisbury. This is also the... More

Very welcoming and accomodating staff. Breakfast was delicious and the staff suggestions of things to do and where to eat were much appreciated. The rooms were very sympathetically and tastefully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The only downside was the uneven road outside the b & b but a very small fault on... More

Great location, convenient parking, wonderful room and charming hosts. couldn't have been a better choice for touring Stone Henge and Salisbury. Upon the advice of Nat, the proprietor, we walked through a lovely park and then the river path to the city center. Perfect.

This is a very welcoming and pleasant B & B on the outskirts of Salisbury. It is an easy and lovely walk along the river into the City so you can leave your car and not worry about the parking costs of visiting such a place. The B & B is very clean and tastefully decorated blending original Victorian features... More
