I live locally and had a number of relatives who needed somewhere to stay for a family wedding. We chose St Ann's House and no one was disappointed and they were all full of praise for the rooms, staff and especially the breakfast. Great value and location.

Very welcoming host, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the city and all it had to offer. Very comfortable room, but a lot of stairs to the top to lug my suitcase up. I had everything I needed and the breakfast was delicious, but watch out for the plates....they are extremely hot! It's ideally situated to walk into the... More

Enjoyed our visit to Salisbury last weekend, staying at St Ann's House, in the very centre of Salisbury city centre. Easy to find (the big yellow Georgian building), and a handy pay and display car-park around the corner in Brown Street (free after 6pm). The "BEST" (Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Tomato) breakfast was great, one of the more well presented affairs... More

Very nice experience. Breakfast was the best we had in England. Very courteous staff. Beautiful views of the cathedral, peaceful, and quiet. Room was very clean, and everything worked. And my wife agrees with everything I said.

This is a lovely place to stay - close to the city centre and full of character. loved the fact that the furniture in the room is all proper old furniture not your usual hotel stuff. Room was nicely set out, would recommend paying the extra for the premium double rooms. Breakfast is something else and not to be missed.... More

We loved everything about our stay here. Mike is wonderful, with great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The rooms were very clean (thanks, Mike!!!). The street is generally quiet, and we walked to the Cathedral and to restaurants and shopping. The only reason we did not give this Inn our highest rating was that there is no air conditioning. If... My wife Angela and I spent a very pleasant three night stay at the St Ann's House B&B in Salisbury at the beginning of June 2014. My wife is partially sighted, and so we were accompanied by her guide dog, "Timber". All three of us were made very welcome and mein Host, Mike, couldn't do enough for us. He proved... More

I have just returned home to Kent, having spent a night at St. Ann's in Salisbury. I would recommend this hotel highly. The overall experience was very enjoyable and the owner Mike was very engaging. I would certainly stay again, maybe this time with the family!

A nicely decorated building and rooms. Comfortable bed . Very small ensuite though and incredibly noisy flushing system, which can't be helped due to the system used I suppose. Surprisingly quiet area of Salisbury. I would actually rate this 3 1/2 stars, but will up to a four as it is worth more than a 3 rating. The host was... More

Hi thanks for the review ,the standard dbls are smaller than our premium but the price reflects this, £69 inc vat and cooked breakfast is not unreasonable for Salisbury. As in a previous review we do not charge for extras and if you had cooked on the day which you did not you would see no charge on your bill .as...
