My partner and I were traveling from the states touring England and had originally made reservations in Salisbury (to see the cathedral) at another place that turned out to be a bust. We regrouped over a pint at a local pub and was referred to St. Anns by the bartender. So happy that we were. Reasonably priced, modest, clean rooms,... More

When we arrived, we were greeted by the very friendly gentleman who is running the B&B. He advised us to help ourselves to a bottle of Bordeaux red wine (on the house!!) He gave us a map and marked all the places of our interest, including the pubs with the best local Ales (don't miss the 'haunch of venison'! An... More

Lovely place. Excellent service, nicely furnished and decorated, superlative breakfasts for both those wanting healthy and light and cooked and indulgent. All the classics, gorgeous fresh fruit platter and some wonderful Turkish twists. Free and fast broadband is a really plus. Quick wins for the owners would be thicker fluffier duvets. The bathrooms also need a refresh/modernisation but perfectly clean... More

Booked St Ann's House after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It's a great find ... a small place full of character in a convenient location for visiting the city and enjoying the sights and restaurants. Rooms are furnished with antique furniture giving the place it's own special charm. The owner, Michael, is a warm and... More

My friend and I stayed here whilst in Salisbury for a wedding. The rooms are not the most modern things you will come accross but it was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the owner Micheal was absolutely fab! Breakfast was included - it was great and much needed after the wedding. I would definitely recommend staying here to... More

We're from Salisbury and stayed here on the 14th of Feb in a premier room. It was beautifully kept with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, pretty furnishings and a lovely breakfast (lots of options to choose from). I'm glad we stayed in this homely place rather than a hotel! The owner is super friendly too- I... More

We chose to stay at St Ann's House while visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge because of its dog friendly room. We arrived well before check in time, on a busy Saturday afternoon but found that parking was easy on Brown street, only 3 minutes walk from the accommodation (parking is for residents only on St Ann street). When checking in, the... More

The best B&B in salisbury continues to prove why it has that reputation. Hospitable service, attention to every detail and the best breakfast in town all make for another magical experience with Mike and the family at St. Ann's House.

I had the privilege of a private dining experience here with colleagues to celebrate Epiphany. We were offered a choice of three dishes for each of the three courses - all of them creative: Starters Plate of charcuterie (cold meats, terrine, potato and walnut salad) Home cured gravadlax Roast tomato and basil soup Mains Fillet of sea bass with seafood... We took an early train from London out to Salisbury -- and were earlier than the checkin time. Luckily Mike was around and graciously let us check in early. I would not count on this though... The room was quite nice, breakfast was lovely. Very close to the Cathedral and local restaurants. We walked from the train station, this would... More
