We're from Salisbury and stayed here on the 14th of Feb in a premier room. It was beautifully kept with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, pretty furnishings and a lovely breakfast (lots of options to choose from). I'm glad we stayed in this homely place rather than a hotel! The owner is super friendly too- I... More

We chose to stay at St Ann's House while visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge because of its dog friendly room. We arrived well before check in time, on a busy Saturday afternoon but found that parking was easy on Brown street, only 3 minutes walk from the accommodation (parking is for residents only on St Ann street). When checking in, the... More

The best B&B in salisbury continues to prove why it has that reputation. Hospitable service, attention to every detail and the best breakfast in town all make for another magical experience with Mike and the family at St. Ann's House.

I had the privilege of a private dining experience here with colleagues to celebrate Epiphany. We were offered a choice of three dishes for each of the three courses - all of them creative: Starters Plate of charcuterie (cold meats, terrine, potato and walnut salad) Home cured gravadlax Roast tomato and basil soup Mains Fillet of sea bass with seafood... We took an early train from London out to Salisbury -- and were earlier than the checkin time. Luckily Mike was around and graciously let us check in early. I would not count on this though... The room was quite nice, breakfast was lovely. Very close to the Cathedral and local restaurants. We walked from the train station, this would... More

For those who seek the more personal atmosphere of a B and B but also appreciate the good things in life, St Ann’s House, just a couple of minutes from the cathedral, is very probably the place for you in Salisbury. Housed in a Grade II listed Georgian (C18) building, its rooms are tastefully furnished with antique furniture although modern... More

A simple, quiet, clean comfortable room with lovely views of the cathedral. The breakfast was included in the price of the room, and you can choose from full English, various fruits, yoghurt and breads, but the dining room was a bit of a squeeze when all guests were seated. We would definitely recommend this charming B&B and use it again.

This is not the first time we have visited here and certainly will not be the last. A fine building beautifully restored and converted for really a comfortable , clean, and welcoming stay. Quiet and discrete with excellent food and service. Close to the centre and the cathedral , it should be an ideal starting point to explore and enjoy... More

My wife and myself stayed 1 night in November and found it a thoroughly pleasant experience. The room was large and extensively furnished with some very nice antique furniture. We found the owner, Michael, very helpful about local amenities etc. The breakfast was fantastic but we didn't do it justice as we had had a magnificent meal in Charters 1227... More

I'd emailed Michael weeks prior to our arrival to work out details of where to store our luggage since we were arriving earlier than the 4:30 check in. We wanted to use those hrs to explore Salisbury since it would be close to dark at 4:30. Michael was not forthcoming with an answer so I phoned from USA 2 times... More
