We spent 2 nights there, and enjoyed it very much. Typical listed building with very much charm. The service and the advice given by the owner were very good and he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay, which was very nice. The rooms are a bit small, but well worth the price. The breakfast is good (cooked breakfast +... More

We stayed two nights here with a family of four (two adults, one teenager, one 11-year old). The location was wonderful with short walks to the cathedral, parks, restaurants, and the high street. The owner was flexible with our check-in and check-out and accommodating us with an extra bed. We found the rooms clean and well furnished. The breakfast included... More

Very, very, disappointed; £110 for a 'premium ' (quite what was premium about I would be interested to know) room, even with this location, just isn't justifiable. I find it hard to understand the rave reviews posted here....and the AA four stars claimed on the website....the whole place fell far, far, short of our expectations. Specifically, the reasons for our... More

Michael was so kind as soon as I walked through the door he was showing me the area on the map, recommending places to eat and visit, showed me to my room which was lovely, the bed was so comfortable and bathroom was so clean, everything had been laid out neatly, breakfast was lovely in the morning when they say... I live locally and had a number of relatives who needed somewhere to stay for a family wedding. We chose St Ann's House and no one was disappointed and they were all full of praise for the rooms, staff and especially the breakfast. Great value and location.

Very welcoming host, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the city and all it had to offer. Very comfortable room, but a lot of stairs to the top to lug my suitcase up. I had everything I needed and the breakfast was delicious, but watch out for the plates....they are extremely hot! It's ideally situated to walk into the... More

Enjoyed our visit to Salisbury last weekend, staying at St Ann's House, in the very centre of Salisbury city centre. Easy to find (the big yellow Georgian building), and a handy pay and display car-park around the corner in Brown Street (free after 6pm). The "BEST" (Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Tomato) breakfast was great, one of the more well presented affairs... More

Very nice experience. Breakfast was the best we had in England. Very courteous staff. Beautiful views of the cathedral, peaceful, and quiet. Room was very clean, and everything worked. And my wife agrees with everything I said.

This is a lovely place to stay - close to the city centre and full of character. loved the fact that the furniture in the room is all proper old furniture not your usual hotel stuff. Room was nicely set out, would recommend paying the extra for the premium double rooms. Breakfast is something else and not to be missed.... More

We loved everything about our stay here. Mike is wonderful, with great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The rooms were very clean (thanks, Mike!!!). The street is generally quiet, and we walked to the Cathedral and to restaurants and shopping. The only reason we did not give this Inn our highest rating was that there is no air conditioning. If...
