For those who seek the more personal atmosphere of a B and B but also appreciate the good things in life, St Ann’s House, just a couple of minutes from the cathedral, is very probably the place for you in Salisbury. Housed in a Grade II listed Georgian (C18) building, its rooms are tastefully furnished with antique furniture although modern... More

A simple, quiet, clean comfortable room with lovely views of the cathedral. The breakfast was included in the price of the room, and you can choose from full English, various fruits, yoghurt and breads, but the dining room was a bit of a squeeze when all guests were seated. We would definitely recommend this charming B&B and use it again.

This is not the first time we have visited here and certainly will not be the last. A fine building beautifully restored and converted for really a comfortable , clean, and welcoming stay. Quiet and discrete with excellent food and service. Close to the centre and the cathedral , it should be an ideal starting point to explore and enjoy... More

My wife and myself stayed 1 night in November and found it a thoroughly pleasant experience. The room was large and extensively furnished with some very nice antique furniture. We found the owner, Michael, very helpful about local amenities etc. The breakfast was fantastic but we didn't do it justice as we had had a magnificent meal in Charters 1227... More

I'd emailed Michael weeks prior to our arrival to work out details of where to store our luggage since we were arriving earlier than the 4:30 check in. We wanted to use those hrs to explore Salisbury since it would be close to dark at 4:30. Michael was not forthcoming with an answer so I phoned from USA 2 times... More

Everything about this place was so good - although the stairs are quite steep! Excellent accommodation, warm and friendly proprietor and staff, and an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, fruit compote, tasty meuslli and yoghurt and a sumptious cooked breakfast. My wife and I stayed only the one night, but we look forward to returning!

stayed one night at Michael's in Salisbury. Our room faced the street but was surprisingly quiet. Beautiful bed linens and bathroom, period furniture throughout, the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. The breakfast offerings were outstanding. Michael had gluten free options which was really appreciated. Very centrally located.

Seven of us stayed at St Anns for a girls weekend. We took 4 of the 8 rooms & Mike was very accomodating in helping me work out last minute changes. St Anns is in a great location - on a quiet side road but only 5 mins walk from the Cathredral & about 5/10min walk from all the shopping,... More

..St Ann's House was not as great as some of the write ups I have seen here. The room was on the top floor which is tough for dragging bags. Parking is an issue. The room was clean and bed okay - the bathroom had my knees under the sink when sitting down. The people were very nice and the... More

St. Ann's House was all it was advertised to be. Quiet, clean, comfortable, welcoming and beautifully located close to the Cathedral and all. Mike the owner was charming, helpful, interesting and fun. The weekend weather was typically English rainy, windy and cold but the warmth of the owner and his generosity towards us made it a truly lovely couple of... More
