Going into a gated guest house was a new experience for us, but once we were inside they were greeted warmly, time of breakfast scheduled, shown around the place (breakfast room, bathroom and room) and then was left to it. Was probably one of the smaller rooms in which we stayed on our holiday but was clean, tidy and a... More

It gets all its stars from me for being so nice and ordinary. ideally situated for Salisbury centre, approx. 10 mins walk. Rooms are very basic but clean and homely. Enjoyed the breakfast but not the shared tables. Gated parking for all rooms. Would use again

We had a warm greeting when we arrived & were promptly shown our room, breakfast scheduled & important information to know was received. The rooms were clean & functional with shared bathrooms. The location is very secure hidden behind trees with controlled access. The full English breakfast was very good. The location is hard to find with a very small... More

We had to arrive late, but were met by the staff. Food was good. Perhaps a bit overpriced compared with some of our other stays. The squeaky floor was a distraction. Location was a bit hard to find, but was central to where we wanted to visit.

I attended a course here this morning, The place itself was beautiful and the hospitality was absolutely fantastic! John and Lee were lovely and would definitely recommend here! Situated only five minutes from Salisbury city centre.

We stayed here for 4 nights in January 2015. Although the room lacked an en suite bathroom, there were 2 bathrooms just across the landing, so that was really no problem. The room was clean, well furnished and had a comfortable double bed. The TV worked properly and had a full range of Freeview channels. There was also a kettle... More

This is the most appalling place I have ever stayed at! I had booked a room with a private bathroom to which I was told on the phone that it was right opposite my room this was not it was down the corridor on a corner with a bit of paper stuck on the door stating private bathroom. you could... We thank you for your review and are sorry you were so disappointed. The owner was on site throughout your stay and had you phoned the number displayed at reception he would have dealt with your issues at the time and moved you to another room. The private bathroom is private and can be locked from the outside. Several of... More

I stayed here recently with a friend and we were very pleased to find we could walk into Salisbury in a short time from here. We could leave the car in a secure place behind the property gate and not worry about that. Breakfast was generous and very nice but could have been hotter.. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. The... The room was clean, simple, good enough. We had a twin room ensuite. Breakfast is ok, staff friendly and correct. Next to our room was a bathroom for the cheaper rooms, that was a little noisy. Just a short walk to the nice town centre.

My sister brought me here as a surprise treat for a 'special' birthday, knowing that I was depressed about my age, stressed in my busy job, and knowing what peace I find walking around tranquil, spiritual places in my free time. I can honestly say that I have never experienced a calmer place than this. From the moment I put... More
