Service was good, but very formal. We didn't feel comfortable approaching any of the staff. The room was nice, we were on the top floor with a gorgeous view of the cathedral (but VERY hot!). We also appreciated the security (it's a gated facility). One thing that was very disappointing...The internet didn't reach the top floor so we decided to... More

We had a pleasent stay at the friendly, cute guest house. Flexible check in times. Lovely breakfast and gardens. The best part was it's proximity to the city centre- it couldn't have been better situated! It was the cheapest accomodation as well.

We stayed for 1 night with our daughter. The location was great. A quick, easy walk to Salisbury Cathedral. We were on the top floor, and arrived during the check - in time, which is 4-6 pm. The room was hot, with no cross ventilation. But, there was a door out to the fire escape, which we opened, which aired-out... More

Lovely B & B in pleasant gardens close to town centre. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean with little touches of care like fresh flowers. Quiet and peaceful. Internet fast, security very good. I had shared bathroom; ensuites were available. Mattress was OK, but a bit uneven.

The staff were friendly, we were able to check in prior when we arrived at 1 pm. The best thing about this place is the quietness. However, there wasn't any direct light in our room, the only outside window was in the bathroom, with opaque glass, which made me feel very claustrophobic. Also, you had to decide on the day... More

Stayed there for the summer solstice, and choose that one because the others were fully booked! Its a friendly house, small and old, not too far from town's centre, very small breakfast choice that u had to preorder the previous day (????), and the free wifi was very poor! I don't believe i would stay there again, specially because of... More

I was positively surprised after having read the reviews. It's a quiet and cosy place only a short walk from the center and the cathedral. Tidy rooms with comfortable beds, mine No 7 with cathedral view and ensuite toilet, maybe a little noisy if you let the window open due to the nearby city road. Full English breakfast comes exactly... More

Great place ideal location for an overnight stay,we were racing a car local to Salisbury,so being from Cheltenham needed over an night stay, car parking was disorganised with one car taking 3 places, clean room and bathroom but beds were like sleeping on planks,we needed yo be on the road next day for 7,so the guy who greeted us saturday night said... The approach to this 'hotel' is by far the best thing about it. We were disappointed to say the least. The only natural light in our room came from the adjoining bathroom - the windows to our room overlooked a communal sitting room so the blinds were permanently pulled down. There was very little reception on the tiny TV -... More

Do not expect any frills at this establishment. However it did the job for us this weekend. Perhaps a little pricy considering the room and decor, but as any profit goes to good causes this was acceptable. My friend and I felt a little more hospitality would not have gone amiss. There was little conversation between hosts and guests.
