Giving feedback as a satisfied customer is not something that I find happens too much these days. But after a stay at Newton Farmhouse, being looked after by Lizzie, David and the staff, we feel compelled to let people know of the truly wonderful experience of comfort and great service we have encountered during our stay. We have just experienced... more

The Guesthouse is a wonderful, warm and most of all welcoming place to stay! Everything is catered for by Lizzie and David, the room we stayed in had a very personal touch to it, and also had a lovely snowy view from the window. Couldn't have asked for anywhere better to spend the evening, and certainly wouldn't have found hosts... more

How can we improve on what has already been said by previous reviews!!! The house was stunning and the rooms were sympathetically decorated in keeping with its history . The four poster beds and furniture added to the luxury. The house has many quaint features including a bread oven and grated well in the conservatory. Lizzie, our host, was very... more

My boyfriend booked us a night in this charming B&B as a surprise Christmas present and it was a fantastic stay. The B&B is very easy to find, and ideal if you are exploring the New Forest and Salisbury area. The farmhouse and grounds are lovely and our room was adorable. We were met by David, who had phoned us... more

We spent the whole week-end from Friday to Monday with Lizzie and David at Newton Farmhouse. The food was lovely, made to feel very welcome by Lizzie and David, nothing to much trouble very helpful, homely quaint rooms - totally brilliant atmosphere. Lizzie gave us the names of local places to eat and all the local knowledge we needed. -... more

Our family of four (2 children under the age of 10) stayed for only one night. They took care to dress one bed in pink for our daughter and blue harry potter sheets for our son. It was pouring rain when we first arrived and the owner Lizzie was so warm and welcoming -- she took the children to the... more

Our room was large and the house is o.k., but it was a bit impersonal (maybe due to the fact, that we had only one night) and the busy main road is close to the house. The breakfast is average, nice winter garden as breakfast room. Salisbury and Stonehenge are not far away, nice pubs in Whiteparish for drinks and... more

We spent 3 nights at this Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and had a wonderful stay. Grounds were lovely with animals, swimming pool and trampoline. Beds were comfortable in an attractive room with a garden view. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, juices, croissants, cooked and toast. You could fill yourself up and not be hungry until the evening. Weather was good for mid September... more

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It's a great farmhouse with its own chickens, lambs and veggie garden. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruits and products from the garden - including freshly laid eggs. Our room was very spacious with a 4 poster bed. We wanted somewhere close to the new forest and while in the new forest it... more

Very rarely do you arrive at a place where the owners are so charming that they disarm you. Well guests at Newton Farmhouse are lucky to have two of the nicest owners who make you feel so relaxed and comfortable, that they needed to be commended for this over and over again. This bed and breakfast has quaint four poster... more
